Hold A Board Meeting •

Right now is the perfect time to do this! With all of the important events that are coming up so quickly, planning your upcoming Key Club year is the best way to stay on top of everything! Some projects to mention: membership recruitment, a Member Orientation event, PTP fundraising, RTC, Awake-a-Thon, Fall Rally, Trick-orTreat for UNICEF and finalizing the donations you want to send off to the Eliminate Project.

Get Dues Paid • Ask members to pay dues by October 15th • Get dues payment finalized on-line and check sent off by October 29th. Remember, you can make another dues payment in January, so don’t get hung up on making sure that EVERYONE pays right now…. just make sure than anyone going to Fall Rally pays. • The amount sent off to Key Club International is $11.50 per member. Your club can decide what amount you think is appropriate to ask members to pay.

Join in! • •
Each club should participate in three to five service projects a month. Service projects are one of the best ways to spend a weekend! They help your community, you make new friends and create closer bonds with other Key Clubbers!

Attend Awake-a-Thon; • Attend the PTP Awake-A-Thon on October 9th, an all-night event held at 9451 Brooks Rd. South in Windsor • Fun bonding games and a great way to get to know the other members in the division!

Take-over! • Plan a take-over of a Kiwanis club meeting. You provide the program and share some goals and ideas of your club for the upcoming month or year.

Fundraise! •
•
Raise as much money as you can for PTP. Each club should make at least $250. Not only is it an amazing cause, but this is the money you take to Fall Rally and we use it to bet on our LTG! Try a bake sale. They are fun and easy to plan with relatively low cost!

Sign-Up! • Start advertising for Fall Rally and get your sign-ups under control. • Sign-up by October 2nd, or pay on site for a higher cost.

Newsletters •
•
Put together a club newsletter and have it at club rush to attract new students. This will help them understand what happens regularly during a Key Club month. Write an article for the Region 15 newsletter. Get the word out about how awesome your Key Club experience is! Due dates for sending articles to the Division News Editor are: October 13th for an in-depth look at a single event, and October15th for a club report. ALL CLUBS should do this!!
