Golfing & Division News

On the 22nd of June, members met at the Camp Office to put together the “goodie bags” for all 100+ participants of the event. We even bought some of the supplies for the bags! It was an extra warm afternoon on June 24th, but despite that fact, we had a team from our club playing in the tournament. We won’t reveal their scores…just the fact that they had a great time!

Congratulations to those of you who have achieved over 25 years and over 40 years of service for Kiwanis International. Kiwanis is stronger because each of you decided to be a part of your club(s) and our organization for as long as you have. It is rare today for individuals to commit to the number of years of service that each of you has.

CLUB HOSTING DIVISION COUNCIL MEETING

September: Cedar Hills Due to the increasing cases of the COVID deviant we will continue with a meeting on Zoom.

Fingers crossed for October

We are an important part in our communities. As Kiwanians, please do your part. Since schools will now all be masked, reach out to the schools in your area of K-12 and see how you can help supply them. Finally, be open to new requests, find the need in your community and keep your faith and energy high to continue making plans for club growth. “Work” a plan to create a stronger club. If you want help, contact me and after our discussion I can put you in contact with the correct group/person to assist you. 7
