Temecula on Tap

Here’s to the pursuit of hoppyness

Winemakers like to joke that it takes a lot of great beer to make good wine, so it’s only natural that Temecula Valley’s beer scene is booming, too. Our dynamic and tight-knit craft brewing community has become a rising star of the beer world, with local breweries making their mark in prestigious national competitions and being featured on carefully curated beer lists everywhere.

Of course, you don’t have to be a hop head to appreciate the depth and breadth of high-quality beer being hand-crafted and poured all along the Temecula Valley Ale Trail. On any given sunny Temecula afternoon, one can sample fresh local IPAs, stouts, lagers, pilsners, sours, whits, hefes and limited seasonal releases at brewerybased tasting rooms, where you might even have an opportunity to meet the brew master.

And the beer is just the beginning. Most Temecula breweries are here for your beer munchies, offering pop-up food trucks or even fullmenu restaurants. Top that off with live music, trivia nights, pub games and informative guided tours of the beer making process, and wine country starts to look an awful lot like beer country. Valley tour operators offer guided brewery tours with transportation and tastings included.

For the ultimate beer experience, visit during Temecula Valley Craft Beer Month in May, when the spotlight shines on our brewing mavericks. The calendar overflows with special events and festivals, with breweries offering deals, exclusive pours and collectable glasses. Cheers to that!
