To low scores and high spirits

Epic days are par for the course on Temecula Valley’s three marquee public golf courses. With year-round mild weather, sweeping panoramic vistas, mountain ranges, rolling hills and shady ancient oaks, challenges and rewards await golfers of every level, on every hole.

Temecula Creek Golf Club’s three nine-hole layouts each offers a unique experience, earning a fourstar “Places to Play” rating from Golf Digest. Beginners favor their approachable Creek course, while more experienced players will appreciate the challenging Stone House course. Whichever you choose, the resort’s elevated dining and welcoming greenside patio tee up unforgettable team building and gathering opportunities.

At CrossCreek Golf Club, the scorecard only tells part of the story. This secluded course winds its way through an actual vineyard before plunging dramatically into serene, oak shaded canyons.

For the ultimate resort golf experience, Journey at Pechanga has appeared on Golf Week’s list of best courses every year since opening, and for good reason. Each hole takes advantage of the resort’s mountainous terrain, as breathtaking verticality challenges the player, and rewards the eye, with every shot.

Off the course, these signature golf destinations each offers delicious cuisine, exceptional service, professional instruction and various hospitality packages for groups and extended stays.

Golf Among the Vines

Did you know you can play alongside vineyards? CrossCreek Golf Club’s stunning secluded natural environment is surrounded by mountains with vineyards at holes 7 through 9. The best times to play at this course to beat the crowds are midweek between 10am-12pm. Wednesday & Thursday are the quietest days.

Golf Courses Help Save the Planet

Between Journey at Pechanga and Temecula Creek Golf Club, millions of gallons of water, wildlife, butterflies and food waste get new leases on life.

From the time Journey at Pechanga opened in 2008, the mantra of treating the land as a living, breathing and life-giving entity had been established by the Pechanga people since time immemorial.

Journey at Pechanga utilizes the most ecologically friendly practices available in modern golf course management. The course’s terrain operates with 30-percent less grass than the California average.

The water used in irrigating the course is reclaimed and recycled, much of it from its two lakes. They use state-of-the-art irrigation and weather prediction software.

The Fairways have 100% Bermuda grass, which requires significantly less water. Journey remains true to the natural environment by protecting native vegetation and Oak and the native habitat.

Temecula’s very first golf course – Temecula Creek Golf Club has redesigned 8,000 square feet in three separate areas of the golf course into Monarch butterfly habitats that include local wildflowers and milkweed. These protected areas add to the natural beauty of the course.

Golfers love Temecula Creek Golf Club for the hundreds of trees that seclude the course. Great care is taken to save these damaged trees from heavy winds and storms. Fallen pieces are saved in case they can be grafted and replanted. This guarantees native trees and plants continue to prosper along the course and within the region, helping sustain natural habitats in the process.

Just off the tee box of Hole 1 of the Oaks Course is the Temecula Creek Inn Chef’s Garden. Nearly one acre of produce and herbs is harvested for use in the restaurant and at their many catering events. Food waste from the restaurant gets put back to good use.
