Norton Healthcare invested $38 million in a new comprehensive cancer center in Louisville in an effort to focus on the unique needs of the region’s cancer patients and their families. The facility houses an array of oncology services, including radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusion therapy, and support services, along with hematology, neuro-oncology, and surgical oncology specialties in one location. The new, three-story 48,590 SF freestanding Cancer Center is designed according to the following program: The

first floor is used for radiation treatment with two state-of-the-art linear accelerators and the Prompt Care Clinic, providing urgent care for oncology patients; the second is primarily used for exams and offices; the third is for infusions and treatments.
