Burns Lake Campus The Lakes District campus is surrounded by some of BC’s largest and most beautiful freshwater lakes and world-renowned mountain biking. The campus has gained worldwide attention for its Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder advanced diploma, which is delivered online. Fort St. James Campus Located on the shores of Stuart Lake, the region is known for its outdoor adventure sports, including skiing at Murray Ridge. The CNC campus has a close working relationship with the Mount Milligan Mine and provides a rotating variety of foundation trades programs, Adult Basic Upgrading as well as a variety of certificate and continuing education courses. Prince George Campus Prince George is a great mix of city and country living. An active city of 75,000 people – its BC’s Northern Capital. Prince George is a regional centre for shopping, sports and the arts, but also appeals to outdoor enthusiasts with hundreds of kilometres of paved and backcountry trails. Quesnel Campus The beautiful city of Quesnel is proud to host CNC’s largest campus. Quesnel is rich in culture with more than 30 heritage sites around town. The stunning campus is shared with our education partner UNBC. Programs include Nursing, Social Work, Industry Training, University Transfer and Academic Upgrading. Vanderhoof Campus Vanderhoof is home to CNC’s first community campus, which opened in 1975. Standout programs include Administrative Business Technology, the Health Care Assistant Program, a variety of rotating foundation trades programs, employment readiness training as well as various certificate and continuing education offerings. There are close working relationships with the local First Nations including Saik’uz, Nadleh Whut’en and Stellate’en. Diversify Your Learning Experience Continuing Education Learn from faculty who practice what they teach; the up-to-the-minute knowledge and innovative ideas they share in class will give you the marketable, in-demand skills you need to get your dream job.Take a short course or a more in-depth program in art, business, health care, social services, office technology or trades.
Upgrading Would you like to obtain a certificate of high school equivalency? You can use Academic Upgrading courses towards your Adult Basic Education Certificate or a BC Adult Graduation Diploma. If you have a high school diploma, but not the courses you need to get into college, we can get you started and on your way. You may be able to overlap academic upgrading courses with other courses at CNC. With our Access Program packages, you can have a seamless transition into many programs, and, for some programs, guaranteed admission and/or advanced standing.

Student Residence Our campus in Prince George offers a 92-room student residence. Your private room comes with basic furniture, and a mini-kitchen that comes with a microwave, sink, and small fridge. The spacious shared common areas feature two comfortable lounges, TVs, a pool table, a main floor kitchen, laundry rooms, and park-like grounds with a patio and barbecue. Many of CNC’s programs and courses are available at our campuses across Northern British Columbia. Some programs are unique to a community campus.
3. Apply Drop by your campus and apply in person, phone or by mail. For programs offered in Prince George, you can apply online. Check your program’s entrance requirements on our website to make sure you qualify. If you do not meet the requirements, see our upgrading options. To increase your chance of getting a seat, apply early. Our programs fill up quickly! Three or four weeks after you apply, you will receive a letter explaining your program’s entrance requirements and what you need to qualify. 20

4. Submit supporting documents Follow the instructions you received in the mail, or contact your campus for more information. For most programs running in Prince George, April 30th is the deadline to submit these documents. After you send in your documents and satisfy your program’s entrance requirements, we will let you know that you have qualified.
5. Letter of acceptance You will hear from us when you have been accepted. Most letters of acceptance are sent out in May.
6. Register for classes Register online with CNC Connect, or visit your campus’s admissions department. Pay your seat deposit when you register to secure your seat.
