Start Here, Go Anywhere As a student at the College of New Caledonia, you will have amazing opportunities for adventure. Northern B.C. is famous for its natural beauty, with outdoor activities only minutes away, no matter where you are. There are hundreds of lakes in the region that are perfect for fishing, paddling, or just soaking up the sun. You’ll love exploring the countless bike paths and hiking trails in the region or snowboarding and skiing on the same slopes as 2015 Canada Winter Games athletes. When you need a break, check out Play Grounds cafÊ, take a yoga class at Chinook Yoga Studio, or grab a bite at one of our many downtown hotspots, like homegrown brewpub CrossRoads. Concerts and music festivals happen year-round. Hop on a one-hour flight from Prince George to Vancouver for the weekend, go back in time at historic Barkerville, or take a day trip to the spectacular Ancient Forest with your friends.

The Case for Choosing College Colleges are the most affordable and accessible pathway to post-secondary education in BC– with over 60 campuses students can live and study close to home. College faculty has an outstanding reputation for teaching excellence– students receive a worldclass education from experienced, learner-centric instructors. Classes are smaller– students get more individual attention, have more opportunities to ask questions and are better able to learn and practice new skills. Colleges offer seamless university transfer– students can take advantage of the smaller class sizes at college while earning credits that can be transferred to another college or university degree program. Colleges offer choice- it’s easy for students to find a program that suits their unique needs and goals. Tuition is affordable– students pay less than at a university and the credentials earned at college are transferable and in high demand. Visit cnc.bc.ca for up-to-date course and program offerings
