CNJ Guinea-Bissau first step was to have a meeting with the Board and after with their member organizations and the Regional Youth Councils with the purpose to share the information learnt from the 1st phase regarding the project and the concept of GE. Having this in consideration, the partner decided to integrate GE in the activities of the 3rd Guinea-Bissau Youth and Development University. This was also an opportunity to update once more their PoT. Despite the fact an educator was selected, they faced difficulties with visa request, which made impossible the participation during the 3rd phase of the project in Cape Verde (for the TfT on Global Education).
FNG organized a specific Board meeting in order to agree on how to include the project's activities of the EuroAfrican cooperation process into their political agenda. The Coordinator of FNG's PoT supported the Board member in the definition of a plan of activities and in the selection of the educator to be involved in the other phases of the project. Once selected, the educator had a meeting with the Board member in charge of the process and the PoT Coordinator to share the political priorities and the pedagogical needs of the cooperation process according to national priorities.
Crossing Euro-African with Global Youth Work
Before starting the kick-off event in March, CNJ Portugal identified the need to prepare this year's international work also with its members, so their General Assembly decided on the need of a Meeting on International Youth Cooperation for Member Organizations (29 April – 1 May). After the Networking and Partnership Building event, the educator was selected, informed about the process and invited to participate in the Meeting previously mentioned. Being the coordinator of the project, the main challenges were, within due time, to select the educator and to promote a larger understanding in the Board regarding the needs of the project's phases. The Meeting proved to be an opportunity to involve the Board, the membership and the educator for joint reflection and debate on the theme.
