Stratford-upon-Avon Ramblers is a friendly and active walking group with an extensive walks programme offering something to suit everyone. We welcome new members and visitors to join us on a walk. Walks take place from 10.00 am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday ranging from shorter walks on a Tuesday (usually two walks ranging from 3 to 6 miles) and 8-10 miles on other days. Stratford and Henley Classic Car Club. We are a Free to join, friendly classic car club for owners and enthusiast alike. Monthly meetings take place throughout the year, on the 2nd Sunday of each month for Shown-Shine, 10.00-2.00 at the The Bar @ Bearley CV37 0SR, Chit-chat night 1st Wed of each month 6.30-8.30. We also have a Breakfast Cruise 2nd Saturday 9am start to different locations. Visits to other clubs and shows throughout the year. We organise 1 or 2 museum trips a year, and a show each year the first week in August attended by over 200. Without members we would have no club. Warwickshire Stitchers is a friendly group of enthusiastic embroiderers and textile artists. We welcome all new members – beginners, experienced stitchers or anyone taking up embroidery again after an absence. We love to share our skills and learn from each other. We meet most months on the first Friday for talks and the first Saturday for workshops and members’ days. In 2023-24 meetings will continue to be a mix of face-to-face and Zoom. Fosseway Chamber Orchestra Do you play a musical instrument? Would you love to play with others and improve your mental and physical well being at the same time? We meet every Tuesday morning 9.45 to 12.00 in Stretton on Fosse Village Hall GL56 9QX, playing a wide variety of music. Players are mostly grade 4-7 but we welcome anyone who can play four reliable notes. Did you learn to play a musical instrument at school or have you started later in life and would like to play with others in a friendly unpressurised environment? Back & 4th Community Transport provide a minibus and friendly volunteer driver for community or voluntary groups across South Warwickshire to go to meetings, events or interesting places. Why? Stratford Vision Support Centre is for everyone living with any degree of sight loss – you do not need to be registered. We have activities, social sessions, speakers and equipment demonstrations.
