A legend in the theatre is Emlyn Williams' breathtaking performance as "Dylan Thomas Growing Up." All those who saw this marvelous evening of laughter and pathos, wild wit and charm, either in the highly-praised Broadway run or on the subsequent tour through the country, retain the experience as one of the most vivid of their theatrical memories. Over and over again Mr. Hurok has been asked when Emlyn Williams could steal time from his Broadway and London dramatic engagements and his commitments to the motion pic tures so that he might make such a North American tour again. Now he is coming.

The ADPi's had a great year, including our new pledges, the traditional Christmas given by the alums, and the "really real Santa Claus," who distributed presents to all present. For our Seniors, the rest of us send them off into the cruel world with the roars of a golden lion. While on a lion hunt in Africa, the Seniors came across a new river, a tributary to the White and Blue Niles; however, this was Olive, and this is what they named it. A basic problem confronted the safari: how to get across the river. Mortimer, the great white hunter, had a couple of Bridges built over it with the help of a master Carpenter who was on the hunt. The group of hunters was held up by Jessie, when they were just Abbott four miles from camp. However, with some organization, the lion hunters got into camp before dusk and managed to Whip the camp into shape. In the J udi Whipling

morning a lion was spotted, and they caught him alive. On bringing him back to camp, he got Luce, much to their dismay. But the safari was fun, even though it was brief.
