Let’s talk about forever. Let’s consider infinity.
It is something we ignore, probably because we cannot see any value in it. Take the time now to consider it with me.
Look up into the open sky. Where does it begin? Where does it end? It is above you, below you, you are surrounded by this endless vastness.
You are surrounded by the infinite, the eternal, the evermore. You do not have to go there when you die, you are always there. You cannot be anywhere else but within the infinite.
You cannot leave it, you cannot arrive in it. It is an always-there, ever-present state of being. It is what you are, an eternal being within the infinite.
You are experiencing time on this planet, in this earthly reality. Time is a convenient way of measuring the distance between birth and death of the body.
It is certain that your body will die. Your true essence does not know the word ‘die’. It is eternal. You have an essential self, much more of you, that is not bound by time.
You are an eternal consciousness, a thing, an awareness that always exists. It cannot not exist because it is of the infinite. It cannot come and go from the infinite, anything in the infinite is infinite... eternal.
It’s awareness may be involved in a particular reality at times, such as on earth but it is forever, whatever it is. This something that you are, has particular and peculiar characteristics that make it unique.
It has some sort of personality that makes it do things in a way that is comfortable to itself. It is not good and it is not bad. It does things in its own way because that is what it is.
It is not glorious and it is not worthless. It is a compilation of all things that it has experienced. Not all of these things were magnificent. Not all of them were wretched.
Your life on earth is just another of its endless experiences. It does and does not care about you because it is you. You are simply, what it is doing and experiencing, right now.
Your human-ness puts values on experiences. It is your human-ness that interprets situations and gives them fantastic meanings. Meanings are true and not true, depending on your very personal judgement.
Your judgement is good and not good, depending on the depth of your belief in the reality before you. You are an infinite something living in eternity but believing in time, at the moment.
Your life on earth is temporary, limiting and confining. When you die, you can continue being dominated by gravity, by believing in the reality of the physical world. Then you will be drawn back into it.
Or you can remember that you are some sort of eternal awareness and that really, you have no time for such foolishness as earthly life.
Then you will merge back into what you are, an eternal consciousness, free to fly throughout the infinite and free to choose your next reality-adventure experience.
No you cannot die, you have nothing to fear. You have always been and you always are.
Now you have no excuses. Step out bravely into this temporary, harmless experience called life and be true to your own heart, even if you are a bit offensive and offended at times!
Be who you are naturally - an oddly unique mix of an infinite variety of experiences both pleasant and nasty. So stop trying to be a good girl or boy because truly, good is only a small part of your nature.
You are an infinite awareness, an eternal consciousness believing in the permanence of a reality that you are only passing through‌ how funny is that?
