It’s All in the Eyes-Allegra Beauty

My eyes were no longer red and glassy after taking Allegra… there was NO hiding in this extreme close-up! The rims of my eyes also look less swollen and puffy, though I sadly still have big puffy bags that allergies aren’t the main cause of (thanks, baby B and little man!), but with a little more rest as B grows, and continued Allegra use, I am sure those will be gone soon. I love the other beauty products, but you just can’t fix red, glassy eyes with them- and clear, beautiful eyes are one of my biggest beauty musthaves!

Do You Have Allergies? Need Some Relief? Have You Tried Allegra? I have been suffering with allergies all my life. It started with dust and mold allergies, and now it’s migrated to dogs, cats, rabbits, and seasonal allergies (mainly in the springtime). For anyone that has allergies you know how it feels. Stuffy and runny nose, itchy eyes and throat, swollen eyes, headaches, non-stop sneezing: So you get the picture. It’s not fun to feel like that. I have been feeling poorly ever since the early blooming of the flowers here in New England and the pollen all around. I heard about Allegra and that it works well, so I decided to go search it out at my local CVS and see how it works.

Allergy Relief for Clear Beauty Allergies aren’t pretty. Dark circles, puffy eyes, and a pinched forehead from sinus pressure doesn’t look so friendly or feel good either. I needed a little pick me up — something to make me feel and look good. Without spending too much money {less than $25}, I was on my way to feeling better with Allegra.

A Spring Makeover & Enjoying Time Outside (Bye Bye Allergies!) I wanted to put Allegra to a REAL test and spend some time outdoors with my little man. But first I went and made my face match how I felt. I fixed those terrible brows, put on a little coverage and I was done. Just a little tltch to your face can make you feel so much better about yourself! I spent several minutes looking in the mirror in amazement at the red color in my nose and eyes disappearing and the puffiness going down. It was really working! I felt great!

It’s Better to Look Good and Feel Good! Rather than self-prescribe, I decided to pay a visit to a professional; the pharmacist. After explaining (and complaining about) my symptoms, she recommended Allegra #ClearBeauty. Sneezing? Check. Itchy throat? Check. Runny Nose? Check. Watery Eyes? Check. And, when using your CVS card in the month of May, a 30 count pack of Allegra is just $17.99. YEAH! If I am going to be feeling better, I should celebrate by looking better too. As my own harshest critic, I must admit that after I started taking the Allegra, and tried on my new face, I felt happy and refreshed (with just a little dash of sparkle!).

Surviving Allergies

I have taken the same allergy medication for years now and I don’t know if my body has just built up an immunity to it or if my allergies have just intensified. However, I know one thing for sure. I can’t keep living like this! I avoid going outside because I am miserable and I never bother doing my hair or make-up. This is because the constant rubbing of my eyes makes me look like I have raccoon eyes with smeared make-up. Although my glasses are stylish and look great, with my puffy sinus area the nose pads of my glasses leave deep marks on my face. And wearing glasses all the time has become uncomfortable. I have to make a change and try to get back to my normal self. It is time to change allergy medications and get these symptoms under control.I am making the switch to Allegra and since CVS carries it at a great price (during the month of May a 30 count box of Allegra is only $17.99 for CVS card holders!). I am heading there to pick up a few beauty goodies to help me feel better and get my mojo back! Before I get to the fun stuff, I am reluctantly going to share my drab before picture with you….don’t scream in horror! You can see how sunken in my eyes are and my uneven skin tone from the rubbing of my face all day! Yuck!

Go from Drab to Fab with Allegra!

Living in St. Louis my whole life it seems like everyone I know was always talking about their allergies. I was thankful that I never seemed to suffer from any sort of allergies, even seasonal. But after I had my son 4 years ago, it seems that I’ve developed seasonal allergies and it’s hit me hard. It’s no surprise that more people are developing seasonal allergies, especially in Saint Louis which was just named the 29th “Most Challenging Place to Live with Spring Allergies”. My husband and son suffer from seasonal allergies also so our house is always full of coughs and sneezes. I was so excited to try all my new make-up products and was over the moon when my eyes didn’t start watering! Now, with just one Allegra pill a day I can wear my eye makeup and feel FAB instead of DRAB!

Katie Simpson, OC Mom’s Activity Guide

Quick and Easy Steps to Clear Beauty on a Budget And the mystery was being solved. I have horrible food allergies as well as environmental and pet allergies. I break out in hives (that tend to look like acne), and have eczema to go along with all the other million “normal” allergy reactions. The doctor put me on a daily Allegra pill and my skin has been light years better ever since. I work to avoid as many of the things I am allergic to daily, but the Allegra helps me combat the unexpected ones that pop up or ones that I can’t control (like the cat and dog we cherish so much). My acute onset of symptoms were from the healthy eating kick I had started (and oats are in everything these days) so my body had just reached a sensitivity point that caused it to go crazy.

Cinny & Ingrid, Whirlwind of Surprises

Fighting Allergies to Become A Clear Beauty Before living in New York, I had no allergies...I was healthy! After I started living here, I discovered, NYC = Allergy Central. I still remember a local telling me that “New York has one of the highest pollen indexes and if you weren’t allergic before, you will be now.” I now had a problem. I was really surprised with the Allegra. I know the mechanics behind the drugs but I wasn’t expecting it to work that well. I got the extended release ones because I wanted to feel good all day. I took it and felt like I could breath. I don’t think I ever felt so clear before in the whole time I’ve been in New York. It also took care of my sinus headache. I was wondering if it was a placebo effect so I didn’t take it the next day. I became slightly congested again. Then I took it for the next 2 days and was feeling pretty good, so I’m convinced. It helps and may just be the allergy solution New Yorkers need! Look at me! I look like myself again! You may even ask, who’s that beauty? LOL, or am I just getting ahead of myself? You were thinking about my gorgeous puppies, weren’t you?

5 Easy Steps to a Fresher Face This Allergy Season 1. Take Allegra daily to get those allergies under control. You can’t control the issue without a little help. Once you take the Allegra, you will notice NO more sneezing, NO more runny nose, and NO MORE watery eyes. All these will TOTALLY help your new Spring time look. 2. Use a facial cleanser daily. know it’s routine to wash it in the shower, but your face needs extra love and attention. Not only are you removing excess makeup left behind, but you’re also sure to remove any dirt and pollen that you may have on your skin. You need a fresh palate to begin the Spring look! 3. Choose a tinted moisturizer. Physcians Formula will help keep my skin hydrated, plus has the ILLUSION of wearing foundation. Not only are all those wonderful reasons for wearing a tinted moisturizer, but also this one I choose has an SPF of 50! I’m safe from the sun!!! 4. Face powder to finish. Maybe I’m a little old fashioned, but I LOVE the way a big brush gathers the loose powder and seems to “set” my face. It just gives your face a “finished” look. 5. Don’t forget the eyes. Add mascara. It doesn’t matter the brand or color. You don’t need to spend MORE time adding color to your eyes…some good mascara opens those eyes and makes them stand out as one of your best facial attributes! (ok, don’t forget to get your eyebrows under control while you’re there). That’s it….how simple is that??

Say Goodbye to Allergies with Allegra! Until I moved to Texas, I had no idea what it was like to suffer from allergies. I remember the first time I noticed something strange. My left eyelid was watery, and it literally washed the eyeshadow off part of my eyelid. I thought it was a one time thing. Until the next day when it happened again in the exact same spot! I was telling a friend about it and he mentioned that it sounded like allergies. I just laughed and responded, “I don’t have allergies!” And that’s when he said, “Well I never had allergies either, until I got them.” Good point. I went to the allergy section and noticed two things. First, Allegra had a huge display of their product. Second, it was so popular that it was almost completely sold out. I picked up a box of Allegra, then headed over to the makeup to grab a few other items.

Kick Your Allergies to the Curb

I finally made an appointment with a Doctor to see what I can do to get a little relief from the watery eyes, the red eyes, the red nose and oh that sneezing. I’m sure she had the answer for me to get me back to a perfectly normal life….. To my surprise she told me to take AllegraOTC so I looked at her with a strange, kind of “You got to be kidding me” look and told her that I had tried just about every product on the market and something else must have been wrong with me. She told me to take it for 10 days and if I am not any better to call her

back and we will perhaps do some testing, but she wanted me to at least give AllegraOTC a try since I had never used it before.

Brighter Mornings with Allegra I am soooo not a morning person. Having seasonal allergies does not help matters either…sniffling all night, waking up all stuffy, and a runny nose all day. Add in contact lenses, and 3 years of sleep deprivation (that’s how long it took my girls to really sleep through the night!), and I certainly don’t look awake either! It’s hard to look and feel your best when you want to crawl under the covers! When I have taken allergy medicines, they have made me drowsy so I took it before bed. While that helps me get some sleep, it does leave me kind of blah in the morning. So I took this opportunity to try Allegra, which I found at CVS Pharmacy. It says “non-drowsy” right on the front, and it was on sale for $17.99 with my (free) CVS membership card. After a few days of taking Allegra, I am waking up with a less stuffy nose and I don’t have that groggy feeling when I wake up. But I also got to try some cosmetics to perk myself up even more.

I Feel a Difference

Growing up in North Carolina, home of the super pollen, amazingly I never suffered from allergies. Even when I lived in the suburbs outside of Philly, I remained allergy free. As soon as I moved into the city though, everything changed. When the winter transitioned into spring, suddenly I’d get horrible headaches and a scratchy throat. My eyes would itch and my nose would run...yeah, not pretty. I picked some Allegra up from CVS last Friday, and after only 5 days, I feel a difference. My eyes don’t feel swollen and my nose isn’t dripping. This is really good! I was even inspired to purchase a few beauty supplies while I was in the drugstore to do a mini-makeover.

Conquering My Allergies I sincerely hope you’re not like me, but if you are, you know all about my dreaded house guest – Seasonal Allergies. Living in east Tennessee is absolutely beautiful – I wouldn’t trade it for anything {unless someone wanted to pay to move our entire family to a house on the beach somewhere nice and warm}. With the beauty of the trees and mountains comes the dreaded pollen and ragweed seasons, though. When I was a child, I usually got sick near the end of the school year in mid-May and right at the beginning of the school year in late August. I never wanted to take shots so I tried to control them with medication. Although nothing ever really prevented them, I did have help in controlling symptoms. Mother’s Day was yesterday and after taking the Allegra for 4 days, I was so happy that I could actually put on my contacts again and get to feeling a little bit more like myself…

Springtime Makeover Using Allegra

for moreis from thr blogge

I have been taking Allegra for 5 days and am impressed with the results. I went from puffy itchy red eyes, sneezing runny nose, an itchy throat and feeling so exhausted by dinner time to feeling like I do not suffer from allergies. The first day there were a few sneezes and a bit of itchy eyes but nothing like my previous problems. The second day I could go outside to play in the yard and only sneezed 3 times the whole day. By the 4th day I have not sneezed all day! Today on the 5th day is Mother’s Day. This is the first time in a few years that I have felt great being outside for the day. I feel clear headed with no sneezing or itchy eyes and not drowsy like some medications make you feel. I am so happy I decided to get the relief I need by using Allegra. Now I feel good enough to put on some makeup and feel fabulously beautiful.

Flipping That Drab Feeling To a Fab Feeling with Allegra

After a few days, I can really feel a difference since I started using the Allegra. I am still sneezing just a bit but nothing like before! I now sneeze once or twice a day when I was sneezing at least 3 or 4 times in a row and it felt like I was doing it every ten minutes! It wasn’t quite that bad but people at work were asking me if I was sick, so there was a lot of sneezing going on! I have definitely seen an improvement in the eye area. My eyes are less puffy and they don’t itch anymore! I can rub them and it doesn’t turn into the itchy burn of a few days ago! So while I’m glad I had a coupon to save a few dollars on Allegra, I would probably buy it at any price to help me get through the spring allergies!

Jennifer Curtis, Always in Wonder

Clear Beauty Campaign Hey guys, so I will tell you right off that mornings around here sometimes suck. And it’s not because of my kids or lack of sleep, it’s because I wake up feeling awful and sick a lot. I usually wake up with a stuffy nose, then 5 minutes later it’s running like crazy. And I spend the first 30 minutes of my day blowing my nose almost non-stop. And not long after that, I am dealing with itchy and watery eyes. My dreaded mornings are caused by my allergies. They plague me constantly during the spring, summer, and fall. But this year I was way more than willing to try something to help me combat them. I decided to join up with the Allegra #ClearBeauty campaign. I chose the 24 hour kind, and took it in the evening, thinking that if it worked I would feel much better when I woke up. And it really did work for me. I woke up the next morning without feeling all stuffed up, didn’t blow my nose, and it wasn’t untill later in the afternoon that I had my usual sore throat either. I felt so much better not waking up and having to blow my nose constantly. And I know that when I feel better, I want to look better too. I even got myself all done up, just because I could! I wanted to try out all of my new cosmetics that I bought when I was at CVS getting the Allegra.

Symptom-free Allergy Season with Allegra This week, I was challenged to think of how Allegra played a part in my beauty regimen, and I realized that it’s part was huge. When I am suffering from allergies, my eyes are red and itchy, and even if I put eye make-up on in the morning it will inevitably be rubbed off by lunch time. I’ve tried allergy pills that work for a few hours, and others that last for a full 24 hours, and I am happy to say that I am almost completely symptom-free this season thanks to Allegra. I take one pill each morning with breakfast, and I’m not itching and sneezing all day long. It’s a miracle and I feel like a totally new person.

Look Fabulous and Beat Your Allergies with Allegra I’ve never really taken an allergy medicine before trying Allegra. I normally use a neti pop to clear my sinus and when my allergies are really bad I’ll take a couple of Tylenol. The biggest reason I opted to not take allergy medication in the past is because most allergy medicine tends to make me sleepy. I can’t feel tired when taking care of my two very rambunctious kids. I’ve got to make sure I’m on time for the daily carpools, blogging, and keeping up with the chores I need to do. Allegra didn’t give me that tired feeling. I felt good enough to go out and even get my hair done. I feel fabulous now. I bit my season allergies in the butt with some help from Allegra. It’s amazing that Allegra, a little eye makeup, concealer and lip gloss helped make me feel so fabulous. And just in time for Mother’s Day.

Feel and Look Good with Allegra I have seasonal allergies that are miserable! I wake up in the mornings with dark circles under my eyes, swollen eyelids, headaches, stuffy nose and a scratchy throat. It isn’t fun and I definitely do NOT look very good. You do not need a prescription for Allegra as it is now available over the counter. Allegra is a fast acting medication that does NOT cause drowsiness. This is very important for me because I do not want a medication that makes me feel tired all day. Allegra takes about an hour to work, which is enough time to have some coffee, a shower and get my son out the door to school. By then I am feeling better and ready to get my day going in full gear. I felt good so I wanted to look good. {Isn’t it funny how those two things go together?}

Allegra & CVS Help Me Feel Beautiful: Head to Toe! I am an allergy sufferer. In fact, I am still on steroids and an inhaler from an allergy related infection that landed me in the Urgent Care center on a Sunday! To prevent anything like that happening again – and to stop my morning allergy attacks altogether – I headed to my CVS to get an allergy medication that I KNOW works on me! I know because I used to be subscribed Allegra by my doctor. And since that same prescription strength formula can now be found on shelves, it is time for me to start getting this under control.

I Have Allergies

I’ve always been sympathetic with those that have them, my husband included. Tissue boxes dot our countertops, and I’m quick with a “bless you!” when someone sneezes. Yet, I refused to admit in my ripe old age of thirty{something} that I, too, am becoming one of the millions labeled “allergy sufferers.” One day last month I couldn’t hold it back any longer and I knew I had to do something because this seasonal “cold” I got each spring was just not cool. I’m now a ‘proud’ (ugh) member of the Allergy Club. More rested, glowy, and ready to have a Mother’s Day to remember. On less than 3 hours of sleep, thanks to two sick kiddos. Whew. Clearly, Allegra is the not-so-obvious beauty secret.
