TCBY Cookies & Cream Frozen Yogurt! { National Oreo Day Treat } I am so glad that they now serve TCBY Frozen Yogurt at Walmart! Now we can enjoy TCBY any time that we want… right out of our freezer! My family LOVES the Supreme Cookies and Cream variety. TCBY added the perfect amount of cookies to the mix! It’s so delicious!! Each serving has only 130 calories and contains 7 types of probiotics. Probiotics are especially important to me since we have dealt with our fair share of sicknesses in our family. It’s great to know that we can enjoy a delicious treat that is helping to keep us healthy! It was such a hot day today… we love eating the TCBY Supreme Cookies and Cream as a cool treat straight out of the freezer. Today I added some mini Oreos and layered the TCBY with the Oreos for a Mini Parfait! It was so yummy! I love using the Mini Parfait glasses that I got on my last trip to Walmart… it’s the perfect serving size for me!

TCBY Tropical Splash Party and Tropical Sangria A great thing to serve at the summer party is ice cream, but an even better thing is frozen yogurt! We like frozen yogurt so much better than ice cream since it’s lighter in taste and lighter in calories. My preferred choice for frozen yogurt is TCBY. I just love the variety of flavors and the taste. This was actually the first time my mom tried TCBY frozen yogurt. She is not a big fan of sweets but she polished off her bowl of frozen yogurt in a blink. I was pleasantly surprised that she liked it and so did my sister. My sister loves ice cream but I think I turned to the frozen yogurt side. Muahaha... Now, she wants it instead of ice cream. Everyone actually seemed to like the Mango Peach TCBY frozen yogurt. I liked it too but I stay faithful to my “chocolate chocolate” TCBY frozen yogurt as it’s my favorite treat. I made this Sundae for my boys. It’s Nutella Fudge cookie topped with Mango Peach TCBY frozen yogurt and almonds. They loved it!

TCBY Tropical Blizzards TCBY frozen yogurt is a healthy way to have a sweet treat! They have many different flavors; Strawberry Swirl, Tropical Mango Peach, Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chunk, Classic Vanilla Bean, and many more! They range in calories from only about 110150 a serving! That is awesome for a yummy frozen summer treat! I can even have it while dieting by factoring in my calories! My kids were so excited about making these blizzards for the birthday celebration! They said they wanted to make a movie while we were making them, so I figured why not? It would be fun to do and fun for my readers to see us make them too! Here is what we used to make our TBCY Tropical Blizzards: 2 C of TCBY Frozen Yogurt 1/2 C soy milk 1 C of chopped mango and peach pieces A couple handfuls of smashed Smarties pieces Kiwi slices for the tropical garnish To make them, we just blended together the frozen yogurt, soy milk, and fruit until the fruit was mixed in well. Then we put the smashed up Smarties in and stirred it around so we could keep the Smarties big enough to have that crunch factor. We finished them off with a little kiwi slice to garnish the cup. They were so yummy! The kids liked the TCBY frozen yogurt so much that I had to keep them from digging in as we made them.

A TCBY Tropical Birthday Celebration The birthday boy was home from his first day of preschool! It was time to enjoy some TCBY frozen yogurt!! Most of the children chose the TCBY Vanilla Bean frozen yogurt in a plain cone. With sprinkles of course!! The moms all chose to eat the English Toffee flavor. This one is my favorite out of all the TCBY Frozen Yogurt flavors (and yes, I have tried every one of their products). It is so delicious and I love the toffee pieces. And the caramel in it is so sweet. The frozen yogurt is even a hit with toddlers! My friend said that TCBY could stand for “Toddlers Best Choice of Frozen Yogurt.” I had fun getting together with friends to celebrate Luke’s birthday. I also love that I could share TCBY frozen yogurt with them.

Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Parfaits With Smarties Whipped Cream To make Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Parfaits with Smarties® Whipped Cream, you will need a container of TCBY Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Swirl. You will also need angel food cake, strawberries, heavy whipping cream, and Smarties candy rolls. The first step is to cut the angel food cake into small cubes. Next, crush the Smarties so that they are a fine powder. I did this with mortar and pestle. We crushed 10 rolls of Smarties for 1 pint of whipping cream. You will also need to slice up your strawberries. To make the Smarties Whipped Cream, whip the whipping cream until soft peaks are beginning to form (soft peaks means that when you lift your beater, it will create a peak, but it will fall over easily). Sprinkle in 1/3 of crushed Smarties and mix just briefly to incorporate it. Do the same with another 1/3 of the crushed Smarties and then with the last of it. In a clear glass, assemble your parfaits. I placed a scoop of TCBY Frozen Yogurt in the bottom first, then a slice of strawberry, then several cubes of angel food cake and a layer of Smarties® whipped cream. Finish it off with more TCBY Frozen Yogurt….

TCBY Ice Cream Sandwiches { National Oreo Day } June is National Yogurt Month and also includes National Oreo Day! In honor of both, I went shopping for TCBY Cookies & Cream frozen yogurt at Walmart. For less than $7 total, I had the supplies to make 12 ice cream sandwiches! What an affordable way to have fun with your family this summer! You could also have a frozen yogurt party with friends and serve these without breaking the bank! It was so easy to whip up sandwiches for my family! After I baked the cookies, we broke out the TCBY Cookies & Cream frozen yogurt! I loved that there were chunks of cookie that I could see before we even started scooping. That is the sign of a good cookies and cream mix! I want to see those cookies! Spoon the frozen yogurt on to one cookie that has cooled completely. Then squish it! If you plan to add the cute factor by rolling the edges in sprinkles, make sure you squish it until the frozen yogurt bulges at the edges. Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches are cheap and easy to make! Then add the sprinkles of your choice! You can easily make these with a seasonal theme or just use any sprinkles you happen to have in your cabinet.

National Yogurt Month FroYo & Cupcakes Party As soon as the weather gets warm around here, we start entertaining a few nights a week. I love putting together a good party – creative decorations, fun games, and good food. Since this month is National Yogurt Month, I wanted to celebrate it with a little Frozen Yogurt and Cupcakes party, and what better frozen treat to use then then everyone’s favorite, TCBY! I started by making dipped sugar cones. I melted down some Wilton Candy Melts in the microwave, and tinted them pink. I rolled the edges of the sugar cones in the melted white chocolate, then rolled ‘em in sprinkles. Super simple, but super fun! Then I set them up in dessert glasses to cool, so the candy could harden. Next, I created these fun little cupcakes… I just used some small plastic party cups, filled them halfway with jelly beans {one of our favorite family candies} and set my vanilla bean cupcakes inside each one. Then I topped the cupcakes with the Wilton Pearl Sprinkles, and a few more jelly beans to match the holders. It was a random idea, but I think it came out really fun!! I’ll definitely be using variations on this for other summer parties. I’m thinking some ribbon around the cups next time would be a great touch…

Everyday Moments I want to share more of these everyday moments here on my blog. No project, no rhyme or reason....just the everyday moments and beauty that is our life. When TCBY Frozen Yogurt let me know June 29th was National Camera Day, I thought what a great way to kick off this series. So I grabbed my camera, some TCBY Frozen Yogurt, and went after my Most Creative Photo. Nothing is better on a 100 plus degree day (WOWZA!) than frozen yogurt with all the toppings. I chose a variety so the kids could really go to town. Happy kids make great pictures after all. Hubby and I skipped the cone and went right for a pretty bowl for sundaes. A happy mom behind the camera takes a better picture...or that is what I told myself... The kids dove right in and I started capturing this everyday moment. I took tons of pictures and only a few made the cut. But you know what, that is okay. That is part of it. Learning my camera, learning my mistakes, and bringing home a better photo next time. I love the results of capturing our everyday lives. These are moments that I want to remember. Yes, we will remember Disney World with the 100 plus pictures I took. However, remembering a great cone on a hot day is worth remembering too. Don’t you think?

Celebrating National Camera Day with TCBY Did you know that June 29th was National Camera Day? Not me either. Thank goodness TCBY Frozen Yogurt let me know, because celebrating National Camera Day with TCBY in hand was definitely the way to really get the most out of the holiday. I should admit that I love TCBY {with a passion} and that I take too many photos. How can you resist frozen yogurt that tastes better than ice cream? So what could be better than combining the two to bring out my inner photographer? In honor of National Camera Day, we all set out to grab a selection of some of the TCBY Frozen Yogurt take home varieties. Although we had originally planned on bringing them home and enjoying them, while we were in the store we got invited to a laid-back BBQ the next night, so we offered to bring desserts for everyone. We {and most of the guests} only had TCBY in their local store, so trying out the varieties of frozen treats in the comfort of home – or, more accurately, your sister’s home – was going to be a fun way to end the meal, and thus we took the shopping very seriously.

Candy Dipped Waffle Cones { 4th of July Celebration } Since I didn’t finalize our plans until July 3, I had to go shopping for food and supplies at the last minute. Yikes, I think I was a little naive as to how busy they would be. While there I picked up some TCBY Vanilla Bean frozen yogurt, M&M’s, waffle cones, and patriotic plates. I tried to find patriotic sprinkles and all four stores I checked were out of them. So I ended up making these patriotic M&M waffle cones. Candy dipped cones may be a new favorite around here. The kids loved them! For the frozen yogurt cones I used: TCBY Classic Vanilla Bean Waffle Cones CandiQuik M&Ms I dipped the cones in the melted chocolate then placed them upside down on a baking sheet. Before the chocolate hardened I pressed M&M’s then put them in the fridge to set. This was super easy and fun for the kids. We finished the night lighting fireworks and playing with sparklers. It was a very relaxed day filled with good food, delicious treats, and lots of fun.

Celebrate National Strawberry Sundae Day with TCBY Frozen Yogurt We have had some wicked crazy heat so far this summer! When temperatures are hot outside, our family is sure to do a couple of things: take a trip to the local water park and cool off with some frozen treats. After enduring another round of temperatures in the 100ยบ range, I thought it would be fun to celebrate National Strawberry Sundae Day with some TCBY Frozen Yogurt. I knew I wanted to put some of the sundaes in these small mason jars I had, so the first thing I did was grab a cookie cutter and cut flower pieces out of the yummy strawberry swirl loaf cake I picked up. The flower piece fit perfectly in the jar. I then layered TCBY Strawberry Swirl Frozen Yogurt and freshly cut strawberry pieces on top. I placed another layer of loaf cake and frozen yogurt and topped with some whip cream. Super easy and super fun!

Celebrating Aunt’s and Uncle’s Day with TCBY Did you know there is a National Aunt and Uncle Day? I just found out! So, in honor of it, we had a TCBY Celebration! My son surprised his aunt with her favorite English Toffee Crunch TCBY then we had our party! He was so excited to give her the TCBY, and he was also happy to get all the kids together so that we could enjoy some frozen yogurt before she had to get on her way.

National Ice Cream Sandwich Day with TCBY You know I love a good celebration and when I was asked to put together a sweet little party in honor of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day, I jumped at the chance! I combined good friends, free printables, and a fun ice cream craft to create a perfect play date in honor of our favorite treat! If I’m being honest, we ate the TCBY Frozen Yogurt Sandwiches *before* we ate lunch. They just looked too yummy! I let the sandwiches thaw for a few minutes before dipping the edges in sprinkles to make them a smidge more special. The TCBY Frozen Yogurt sandwiches were super delicious and I love that we didn’t have to feel guilty about the calories.

Creating Sweet Treats With TCBY Frozen Yogurt The TCBY Strawberry Trifle started with a layer of crumbled angel food cake. That was then topped with a couple scoops of TCBY Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt, followed by some sliced strawberries and sugar-free whipped topping. Those layers were repeated again, and then finally topped off with a drizzle of strawberry topping and a few Andes’ pieces. Yum-o! We had such a great time creating our TCBY treats. The frozen yogurt was extremely yummy, even on it’s own. So it’s definitely something we’ll be keeping in the freezer going forward.

TCBY Strawberry Cupcake Delight 1/2 pint Mason Jars 1 cupcake for each jar TCBY Strawberry Swirl or Vanilla Frozen Yogurt Homemade Strawberry Sauce Whipped topping Strawberries for garnish Bake your favorite cupcake mix and cool completely. Be sure to only fill the cupcake liner or pan 3/4 full. Trim the top of the cupcake if needed. If you over fill the pan the cupcake top will be too large and will not fit into the opening of the mason jar. Make the strawberry sauce and cool completely. Assemble your TCBY Cupcake Strawberry Delight by slicing each cupcake in half. Place the bottom half of the cupcake into the bottom of the mason jar, cut side facing up. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the strawberry sauce over the top half of the cupcake in the jar. Add a scoop of TCBY frozen yogurt on top of the strawberry sauce. Top with the top half of the cupcake, trimmed if needed, and the cut portion facing up. The strawberry sauce will soak into the cupcake this way. Add another tablespoon of strawberry sauce on top of the cupcake top, then top with some whipped topping and garnish with a strawberry.

Our National Creamsicle Day Celebration! As you might have guessed, the Orange & Vanilla Bars were a huge hit! So creamy and perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day...the boys could hardly wait to dive in and they wanted another one right after they were finished! I’m sorry! Am I making you hungry? Here, you want a bite? That delicious creamy center surrounded by that amazing orange layer...mmm I can taste it right now! Things were getting a little sticky so I had them sit down to finish off their bars and let Daddy watch them for a few minutes. And because the Orange & Vanilla bars are too good not to share, we invited our neighbors over to celebrate National Creamsicle Day with us! While they finished off their bars I made up some Creamsicle Floats. We had a tasting station and tried several different orange sodas with TCBY Classic Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt. The winner? Fanta Orange! A couple scoops of the frozen yogurt and top off with Fanta for a delicious Creamsicle Float!

Celebrating National Senior’s Day Mothers get to have a day every May, and in June fathers have the pleasure of celebrating too. One segment of our population that gets overlooked is our Seniors. They are our Grandmothers and Grandfathers. And they deserve to have a special day too! Upon hearing of the existence of National Senior’s day, I thought it would be nice to surprise our local seniors at the retirement home with a frosty treat in the middle of the afternoon. It was so nice to brighten up so many people’s day! I took JP out shopping the other evening to get what we needed to make these lovely cups. Making them was a snap. All I did was use my mason jelly jar containers (they are a bargain at $9.99 a dozen), filled them with a scoop of delicious TCBY frozen yogurt, tie some pretty baker’s twine around the lid and garnish with a chocolate baking chip. Voila! A perfect frosty treat that is as delicious as it is beautiful. Dosen’t baker’s twine make everything better?
