The Messenger YOU CAN ALWAYS TRUST GOD By Lakan Mariano Believers in Jesus Christ have this confidence: nothing you are going through is hidden from God. “The LORD said, 'I have indeed SEEN the misery of my people in Egypt. I have HEARD them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am CONCERNED about their suffering'” (Exodus 3:7, emphasis mine). God hears you, God sees you and knows your struggles, and God is concerned about you. Always remember that God's concern is more than an emotion. It is always accompanied by action to help his children. Know this too: “The LORD said to Moses, 'I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites'” (Exodus 16:11-12). God also knows when we grumble. Grumblings are like skin boils that expose an unhealthy faith. Life can be hard but the life of faith is simple: a believer lives and acts on the basis of what God has said in his word, the Bible, instead of how he feels or what he is going through. You can always trust God.
