The Messenger PREPARING FOR RESURRECTION SUNDAY Almost a month from now we will be celebrating the most important event in the history of Christianity—the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I want to challenge you to prepare your hearts for Resurrection Sunday by reading Luke 22-24 this month. We will be looking at the events of the last day of our Lord leading up to his arrest and his crucifixion and death. Please note the following events: March 18 – Combined Sunday School in the sanctuary as we Focus on the Cross. We will give you booklets that will help guide our heart preparation for Resurrection Sunday. March 25 – Again, combined Sunday school in the sanctuary as we hear From two couples—Rocky and Marla Ayadzuka, missionaries to Japan; and Lance and Laura Ostman, Bible translators in the Philippines, as we focus on Taking the Cross to the World. We will enjoy an all-church lunch together with our missionary guests after the service. ~~Lakan

The Messenger “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35 NIV We would like to thank everyone from CHBC for the way this passage of scripture was demonstrated to us during the loss of our sister, Betty Taylor. We appreciate all the work and care that went into the meal that was prepared for us. We also are thankful for the man who ran sound for the service. They went the extra mile to make sure things went well. We felt all the prayers that were lifted up on our behalf. We are so grateful. Charles & Sue Harrison & Family
