The Messenger Two different countries with many islands: Japan, with 6,852 islands, and the Philippines, with 7,107 islands. Two different cultures: Oriental and MalayoPolynesian. Many languages: the Japanese speak predominantly Nihongo, although there are several languages that are very similar to it, while in the Philippines, there are 100 major languages. This Sunday, March 25, you will hear what God is doing in these two countries. Lance and Laura Ostman are Bible translators in the Philippines with what used to be New Tribes Mission, now called Ethnos360. Rocky and Marla Ayatzuka are church-planters in Japan, evangelizing and making disciples in a very tough environment.
Sunday school will again be combined in the Worship Center. We will be starting at 9:30 am so we can give them plenty of time to share. Rocky and Marla are again sharing during the worship service and Lance is preaching. Come early and enjoy fellowship over donuts, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. This will also give you a chance to say hello to our missionary guests.
