The Messenger Israel Tour November 28 – December 11 This is an opportunity of a lifetime! Ken Sheppard is leading a tour of Israel in the fall. We will visit Galilee where Jesus did most of His three-year ministry, Caesarea-bythe-Sea where the Apostle spend two years in prison, Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, the site of the contest of the gods with the prophet Elijah, and of course, Jerusalem, and many more biblical places. We will have an expert Israeli guide and Ken will give us the biblical background and studies. Being able to see the Bible places for yourself will give you a perspective that will inspire and challenge you. Pray about going on this trip of a lifetime! Brochures about the trip are available in the foyer and at the church office.
History of the Reformation Find out the major personalities, events, and beliefs that shaped the period of the Protestant Reformation. Many people have asked me over the years where did we come from as Baptists? Why are there so many denominations? What are the doctrinal differences between Evangelicals like us and Roman Catholics? As part of our observance of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, we are showing a class taught by Dr. Carl Trueman at Master’s Seminary. It will be on Mondays starting June 5 from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Dr. Carl Trueman holds the Paul Woolley Chair of Church History In This Issue and is professor of church history at Westminster Theological From the Pastor Seminary. AWANA Clubs Events & The class will run through the summer months. Come and Upcoming Dates learn about our history. Ministry Opportunity Youth Ministries College Ministries Contact Information
