Ethnic and Intercultural Services (EIS) provides a supportive environment where individual growth and cultural expression is encouraged to help students become global citizens and leaders. In service to the university and broader community, EIS engages in strategic alliances that enhance the understanding of race, ethnicity, gender, culture, and religious belief and its impact on the community.

We offer opportunities for students to:

• Explore multiple identities and learn about the backgrounds and experiences of others through a range of programs, discussions, resources, and social events • Engage with the greater university community in activities that support ongoing personal and professional development • Empower themselves to be agents of change and engaged citizens

Our programs and services include a variety of workshops; cultural, social, co-curricular and interfaith programs; community dinners; and sponsored academic and dialogue opportunities.

EIS encompasses the following offices:

• Ethnic and Intercultural Services and Intercultural Advancement

• Asian Pacific Student Services

• Office of Black Student Services

• Chicano/a Latino/a Student Services • Ethnic and Intercultural Services • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender
