Yoga Flow Basics Each month, the class begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As the class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow using these poses and synchronizing them with proper breathing. Class begins with warm-up poses to allow deeper stretching and cool-down poses to release muscles, allowing deep relaxation. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels. No class Nov. 19-28. A family friendly show, the Follies will delight everyone, from grandma to the kiddies, with lively singing and dancing, all staged with gorgeous sets, lavish costumes, live orchestra, and the Famous Follies Showgirls. ‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Gift Market The Junior League of Collin County’s ‘Neath the Wreath Holiday Market consists of a four day holiday market at the Plano Event Center, visited by over 13,000 shoppers throughout Texas. The market features the best in unique holiday and home décor, ladies clothing, accessories, gifts, jewelry, children’s items, and gourmet food from over 100 carefully selected merchants. The Wizard of Oz: The Holiday Family Concert Join The Firehouse Theatre during the holiday season for a magical concert of the story we all know and love featuring Dorothy, Toto, Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, Miss Gulch, and Professor Marvel around the Kansas farm. With dreams of escaping her mundane life, the cyclone hits and Dorothy and Toto are transported “Over the Rainbow,” to the Land of Oz. In Oz, we meet Glinda, the Munchkins, the Wicked Witch of the West, and three new friends, The Scarecrow, The Tinman, and The Lion. Along the way towards the Emerald City, our friends encounter a haunted forest, jitterbugs, and flying monkeys. Happy Feet Tap

Tap with Judy

Learn to tap dance. No dance experience required and all levels welcome.

This class starts with a warm-up of basic steps with movements forward, backward, and side to side. Learn a routine with progressive steps introduced each week. Previous tap experience required. No class on Nov. 6 and Dec. 4.

Line Dancing Beginner class is for students with previous dance experience. Students should be capable of learning basic steps: grapevine, chasse, jazz box, etc. Routines up to 48 counts may include rhythms like Waltz or Cha Cha and tempos are slow to moderate. Improver/Intermediate students need previous dance experience and basic skills. Dances will introduce new step patterns: coaster step, rolling grapevines, swivets, etc. Routines up to 64 counts may include various tempos and rhythms and feature pauses, syncopation, timing variations, etc. For full descriptions of levels visit www.linedancerlite.com. *Classes on the first Wednesday of each month will start 30 minutes later than advertised.

Senior Health Fair & Expo Ask questions and get answers about anything from your head to your toes at the Senior Health Fair and Expo. Flu and pneumonia season is right around the corner and the health fair and expo provides an opportunity to receive low-cost immunizations. Most immunizations are free with Medicare Part B. EDUCATION

Medicare Made Clear

Improve driving skills and be more aware of other drivers to ensure greater safety on the road. This course may be used to qualify for insurance discounts; however, it cannot be used for dismissal of a ticket. Registration required. Pay fees at time of class.
