Registration can be completed online, in-person, or over the phone. Service fees apply for online registration and are non-refundable. Non-residents may register for programming and each class will incur a $5 non-resident fee.
Opening of the North Gym Wing
The newest renovation project at the Recreation Center opens at the end of 2024. This space includes an additional gym lined for pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and an upstairs game room. This gives residents additional opportunities for open play pickleball, basketball free-play, and program offerings. Please plan to visit Colleyville’s Recreation Center soon!

Memberships are available to residents of ages 13 and over. Memberships are required for any resident participating in any recreation class, program, activity, or free play. A valid driver's license is required to verify residency.

Winter Ball
Winter Ball 2025 presents a tropical themed dance for mothers and sons (or mother figures) and fathers and daughters (or father figures). Activities will include a deejay, professional photos, gift bags, and lots of fun. Dessert and refreshments will be served. Tickets go on sale Jan. 2 for residents and Jan. 6 for non-residents. Evolution Spring Break Camp

Advanced Mining and Building (PM)
This week-long camp, presented by the Colleyville Soccer Association’s Evolution coaching staff, is focused on fun and solid soccer fundamentals for ages U4-U15. In this program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some fascinating prehistoric creatures with their classmates! They will learn about the animals as they build and code robotic models. While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill.

Not only do we embrace the game's ability to educate students about core concepts, we use it to creatively build on engineering concepts using LEGO first.

Basketball Camp
This camp is designed for players of all skills and abilities that are looking for a serious and fun basketball experience. We focus on individual dribbling skills, passing, and shooting but learn team concepts to put all of the pieces together. This is a skillbased program which utilizes drills and games to reinforce skills being taught. Part of each class time will be used for game scrimmages. Please bring a snack, water, and gym shoes.

Dodgeball Camp
Our ultra-popular program that includes several versions of dodgeball. The emphasis is on fun, teamwork, and exercise. We will play many different versions of the classic game using the new coated foam balls. These balls are perfect for safe and fun play! Groups will be divided based on ages. YOUTH CLASSES
Spring Youth Volleyball League
The league is designed to introduce girls and boys to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of 8-12 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have eight weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Team t-shirts are available at registration for $15 each.
Team Registration
Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration.
Free Agent Registration
Free agent players will be placed on a team based on information provided at registration, if and when a coach volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to coach, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department. Staff will email practice and team details once a free agent player has been placed on a team. If staff is unable to place a free agent player on a team, a refund will be provided. Service fees assessed online are non-refundable.

Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is an afterschool youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates movement and running. Through thought-provoking discussion and fun activities, Girls on the Run uplifts and empowers girls in our community and prepares them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our programs unlock life skills through curricula that inspires confidence and weaves physical activity into thought-provoking lessons. In addition, our program offers girls a tangible sense of achievement by helping them set goals for the end-of-season 5K scheduled for Apr. 26 and gets girls involved in hands-on community impact projects. Now more than ever, girls need opportunities to develop skills in cooperation and collaboration. They need to feel supported in identifying and expressing their emotions and need to be equipped with the ability to create and foster strong, healthy relationships with their peers. FIRST LEGO League
YOUTH CLASSES
The FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in Aug., FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams are introduced to a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on for the school year. The robotics part of the competition involves designing and programming LEGO Education SPIKE robots to complete tasks. The students work out a solution to a problem related to the theme, which changes every year, and then meet for regional, national, and international tournaments to compete, share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots.
Snapology and FIRST LEGO League are designed to get children excited about science and technology, and teach them valuable employment and life skills while growing social skills. Students work on teams and learn about FIRST’s Core Values of discovery, innovation, impact, teamwork, inclusion, and fun. Teams are even scored on their Gracious Professionalism during games. Toddler and Me
Toddler and Me dance classes are for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. Music, movement, balance, and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly, and positive manner. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving while parents actively encourage, support, and keep the little dancer on track. No class Mar. 21 and Apr. 18.
Hip Hop/Jazz Dance classes are created especially for children 6-12 years of age. Using popular music the students start learning dances and choreography quickly as well as learning various dance elements. Our version of hip hop/jazz dance is extremely tasteful and clean and our priority is offering age-appropriate material in a fun way! No class Mar. 19.
Jo-Ann’s Little Dancers equips children with basic art and dance techniques. By absorbing artistic expression and developing physical coordination, your little dancers will find their passion and joy in the dance industry! The required attire for class is a leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. The class will end with a spring recital. The spring recital is scheduled for May 11. No class Jan. 20 and Mar. 17.

The tennis and pickleball courts at City Park may be reserved online at colleyvilleparksandrec.com. The courts are available at City Park between the hours of 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Sunday through Saturday. The fee is $3 per player for 1.5 hours of play. Scan the QR codes for more information.
Effective January 1, 2025 the following will be enforced for Pickleball and Tennis Reservations: Residents may make reservations 12 days in advance. Non-residents may make reservations 6 days in advance.

Volleyball Open Play
Enjoy a well-structured game of volleyball that allows you to have a great time without the pressure of winning or losing. Players will divide themselves into teams of six, either based on their arrival time or if they come with their own group. Players waiting to play will fill in to referee and keep score. Each match will be played to a score of 15. Winner stays on the court unless there are two or more teams waiting to play.

Co-Ed Sand Volleyball League
A sand volleyball league for every recreational skill level. This league is designed to cultivate friendly competition in a fun and safe environment. Free agents are welcome but not guaranteed a spot unless an existing team needs an additional player or a new team can be formed.

If you’re looking for well-organized pick up basketball games that take away the stress of arguments, chaotic play, and never-ending matches, join us for structured basketball games complete with referees, scoreboards, and a game timer. Players will be grouped into teams based on their arrival order. Each game will last for 12 minutes with a running clock and the winning team stays. There will be a two minute break in-between games. The instructor, Lyn Rodriguez Neisius, LPC-S, LSSP, has been working with youth and caregivers for many years and specializes in teaching children how to understand their emotions and use coping strategies. She knows that parents want to support their children with these struggles and is excited to share ideas about how to do that.
