Summer of Rockin’ and Rollin’ good times! Get out and rock your summer with us this year. We have all kinds of camps, events and activities for the whole family! Try one of our sports camps and dash from track to lacrosse and everything in between. Whether you are trying to pick up new skills or just staying fit for next season, these athletic camps will rock your socks. If you are looking for some creative outlets to rock your world take the Adventures and Art or Young Rembrandts class. Also, do not forget to attend the Hop – A - Park event in July. This event is sure to be the rock of ages as we visit four parks in just three hours for the third consecutive year!

Youth Enrichment Sing, Wiggle, and Giggle Join us weekly for a “Musical Adventure of Imagination and Fun!” Each week children will be entertained and enriched with music, dance, and drama. Safety NET for Kids Program The safety Net Kids seminar teaches elementary age children essential safety information. Come learn a variety of candy-making skills, including cake-icing techniques, gummy worms, chocolate medallions, and mint melt-aways. Select Volleyball League Colleyville is joining efforts with TAAF Region 4 member citys’ in forming a youth volleyball select league for girls 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U. Designed for teams wanting to take their game to the next competitive level. Players must sign up as a team. Aging dates for the division will be determined by September 1, 2011 date. Teams are required to travel to regional game locations in various cities including Colleyville. Teams will receive two practices each week and a game t-shirt. Registration ends June 10. Games are on Saturday starting June 18 and ending July 23. Based on number of teams in each league each team will play up to 3 matches each Saturday. Picnic Pavilion Rentals Did you know that you can rent one of the beautiful outdoor pavilions for your next outing? Reservations are completed at the Parks and Recreation office Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. For more information and to check availability, please call 817.503.1180. Rentals include picnic tables for exclusive use through the rental process. Pavilions that are available for rent: Kimzey Park, McPherson Park, Colleyville Nature Center, Sparger Park and City Park. Colleyville Nature Center is the only pavilion with a grill.

Adopt-A-Spot Program: The intent of the Adopt-A-Spot program is to encourage citizen participation in beautification and litter clean-ups of designated areas in their community at regular intervals. Individuals, organizations, or businesses may agree to keep a designated area cleared of litter and/or provide beautification for a contract period of two years. In return, volunteers will receive a sign bearing their names posted in their designated area. Please call for more information.
