AN ENHANCED PATRON EXPERIENCE with cloudLibrary APP We are excited to introduce cloudLibrary – the new feature-packed app that makes it easier than ever to borrow, organize, and return your library items. Your virtual library card in the cloudLibrary app can do everything your physical card can do – except take up space in your wallet. You can load the whole family’s cards into cloudLibrary and easily switch between accounts. Simply use your smartphone to check out materials and receive digital receipts. Your cloudLibrary account can also be customized by choosing an avatar and curating notifications, so you get the information you want, just the way you want it.

1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
THANKSGIVING VIRTUAL CELEBRATION
The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program has arrived at Colleyville Public Library! Studies show that reading to children from an early age helps prepare them to enter kindergarten with the skills they need to succeed. This exciting program encourages parents and caregivers to provide nurturing, positive early experiences by reading aloud to their children regularly. Not only does reading aloud support kindergarten readiness, it also promotes a lifelong love of books and reading. This program is open to all children prior to beginning kindergarten, with the goal of each participant having 1000 books read to them before entering elementary school.
Enjoy stories, songs and a craft for the season. Pick up materials prior to the day of the program and tune in to the City of Colleyville Facebook page for the event.

REGISTRATION OPENS FOR STORY TIMES AND PROGRAMS Enjoy stories, crafts and fun activities during story time. Registration is open to all library card holders. Space is limited, so register early. Preference will be given to Colleyville residents; non-residents will be notified if a spot is available. Story times and programs are available for newborns through grade 5 and last for twelve weeks. To register online, go to ColleyvilleLibrary.com, hover over PROGRAMS & EVENTS, and click the LIBRARY CALENDAR link. Find the class that you want to register for and click on the REGISTER button. CAREGIVERS MUST FILL OUT ONE REGISTRATION FORM PER CHILD. **PLEASE NOTE**: Submission of a story time registration form DOES NOT guarantee the child a spot in the class. Registration requests will be processed as quickly as possible in the order they are received. A staff member will call or email all story time registrants to confirm whether there is a spot available in the class. The Colleyville Public Library makes an effort to include as many children as possible in program activities that our staffing guidelines allow.
