National Night Out

Fall Car Show

This annual event provides an opportunity for the community to meet the men and women who keep Colleyville safe. Festivities include food, games, and activities for the whole family. We’ll have several city and specialty vehicles that kids (and kidsat-heart) can explore. Residents of all ages are invited to join us!

Since it was such a hit last year, we’re bringing it back! Join us for the 2nd annual Fall Car Show. We’ll have music, food trucks, free coffee, and fun for all ages!

YOUTH CLASSES

Youth Volleyball League – Fall Season The league is designed to introduce youth to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of 8-12 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have eight weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Team t-shirts are available at registration for $15 each. Team Registration: Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration. Free Agent Registration: Free agent players will be placed on a team based on information provided at registration, if and when a coach volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to coach, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department. Staff will email practice and team details once a free agent player has been placed on a team. If staff is unable to place a free agent player on a team, a refund will be provided. Service fees assessed online are non-refundable. Soccer Shots Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum. Our coaches are the best-trained in the business. Our expert-approved curriculum is age-appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards. In addition we provide an exceptional customer experience and ongoing communication with parents. Yoga Flow Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Class begins with warm-up poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cooldown poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. Pavilion Rentals

Pavilions are available for rent at City Park, Colleyville Nature Center, Kimzey Park, McPherson Park, and Sparger Park. Rentals include picnic tables. The Colleyville Nature Center is the only pavilion with a grill. Online reservation requests can be submitted online but must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the reservation date. Senior Center Membership Memberships are available to those ages 50 and over. Memberships are required for anyone participating in any senior class, program, or activity, or for anyone using the fitness facility. Resident membership: No annual fee Non-resident membership: $10 per year Memberships will be suspended while renovations are in progress.

Yoga Flow

Jazzercise Lo-Impact

Each month begins by exploring basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow, synchronized with your breathing. Class begins with warmup poses that allow you to stretch deeper and ends with cool-down poses to release muscles, allowing a deep relaxation. No experience necessary, class is designed to provide options for all levels. No class Nov. 8 and Nov. 24.

Use muscles, not momentum to get a total-body workout that brings all the dance fitness fun without the hop. A combination of cardio and strength training for a heart-healthy workout that keeps your body strong. DANCE

Line Dancing Beginner class is for students with previous dance experience. Students should be capable of learning basic steps: grapevine, chasse, jazz box, etc. Routines up to 48 counts may include rhythms like Waltz or Cha Cha with slow to moderate tempos. Improver students need previous dance experience and basic skills. Dances will introduce new step patterns: coaster step, rolling grapevines, swivets, etc. Routines up to 64 counts may include various tempos and rhythms and feature pauses, syncopation, timing variations, etc. No class Nov. 23.
