Soccer Shots – Mini
This class will prepare your small tot physically and emotionally to perform in organized sports. Skills like throwing, catching, kicking, and gymnastics will be practiced during class. Your tot will work through team stations and perform tasks that gradually build confidence in a fun and kid friendly environment.
Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling, and the basic rules of the game. Summer Volleyball – Girls League & Boys League The league is designed to introduce youth to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the basic premises of the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition.

A team will consist of a minimum of 8 players and maximum of 12 players. Teams will practice an hour each week. Players will receive a team t-shirt. Registration can be completed online or in person. To register, the team coach must contact the Recreation Department at 817.503.1180 with their team information. At that time, the coach will be given a team code to give to their team to register. Signing up as an individual or a free agent does not guarantee your child a spot on a team. A coach will have to volunteer in order for a team of free agents to be formed. Integrity Volleyball Club Clinic
Playspace Engineering and Spy-Tech
Participants will have 3 practice sessions with Integrity coaches and each session will include 75-90 minutes of skill development and 3045 minutes of game like play that will apply these skills. We will also work on offensive and defensive transitions and court positioning during the 30-45 minutes of game like situations. This program trains players to play club volleyball at the 10U - 13U level and is a great place to get started on getting ready for Middle School volleyball!

Art Camp – Ocean Life Five, fun-filled days await our students as we explore ocean life as they learn to draw and color with pastels. We will create detailed pastel compositions on each day, focusing on a different ocean-themed subject. We will draw eye-catching sea stars along the shoreline and a pair of vibrant clown fish. We will illustrate a sea turtle with bold patterns, a blue crab, and a wondrous scene of jellyfish. Our instruction will bring remarkable results and you will want to head to the frame shop with your child’s finished pastel pieces. Junior Police Academy The Colleyville Police Department’s Junior Police Academy is a great opportunity for the youth of Colleyville to learn what it takes to be a police officer. During this one week mini academy, the students will gain knowledge of some of the functions their local law enforcement professionals perform on a daily basis. The students will learn pertinent information that can affect them in their community. Officers of the Colleyville Police Department provide the students instruction on many different facets of the police profession, including traffic stops, handling crime scenes, SWAT operations, and conducting building searches. Max of 16 students by Fri., Jun. 5. My First Business – Food Truck
STEAM Inventors and Anti-Gravity Racers
Students get a first-class opportunity to become entrepreneurs who operate their own food truck business. The fun begins when the new entrepreneurs begin developing their start-up plan including their logo, investor pitch, target market, expense report, marketing plan, and more! They then create menu items based on their individualized interests. Lastly, students will build and design a food truck out of cardstock. Students will leave camp with their full business plan and food truck mockup. Campers host a grand opening showcase for family and friends at the end of the last camp day!

In Snapology’s Drone Commander Camp, students will be introduced to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and develop a deep understanding how to control and manage this exciting technology. In this summer camp your student will learn about the types of UAVs, the parts needed for controlled flight, the forces of flight, basic drone safety, and a variety of flying maneuvers. This exciting summer camp will give your student the chance to safely test out some of the newest advances in robotics and really take their knowledge of engineering to new heights!

Art Camp – Cartoon Adventures in Space
My First Business – Lemonade Stand
Join Young Rembrandts as we travel to the farthest reaches of the galaxy in our Cartoon Adventures in Space workshop. Futuristic scenes of other worldly adventures highlight the spectacular drawings our students will produce. We will join our own colorful cast of cartoon characters, like Sketch the mouse, Shade the cat, and Dave the elephant. Not only will our students learn how to illustrate science fiction-inspired characters and moments, but they will also strengthen their drawing and coloring skills. From astronauts in jetpacks to out-of-thisworld alien lifeforms, our students will learn how to compose well-drawn cartoon figures in dynamic poses. Get ready for five days of exciting, intergalactic imagery!
Students get a first-class lesson on how to become entrepreneurs by running their own lemonade stand! This is not your old-school lemonade business. Students create a real-life business plan by defining their target market, product survey, data analysis, cost analysis, expense report, and more! Students will then create, mix, and test their new lemonade recipe. Students will leave camp with their full business plan and a pitcher of their homemade lemonade. Campers host a grand opening showcase for family and friends at the end of the last camp day!

Co-ed Sand Volleyball Leagues Sand Volleyball leagues for varying recreational skill levels. Leagues are designed to cultivate friendly competition in a fun and safe environment. Each league will have six weeks of regular games, played on a designated evening, followed by a single elimination tournament. Registration can be completed online, over the phone, or in person. Heartfulness Meditation Heartfulness is a simple and effective way to integrate meditation into our daily life. Terrell Day Trip Join us as we take in the top spots in Terrell, Texas. We start the day at The No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum, sharing the little known history of World War II British aviators who came to Terrell, Texas to earn their wings. Next we stop for lunch at Ham Orchards, known for their peaches, farm market store, home made pies, fudge, ice-cream, and Eddie Dean BBQ. After lunch we stop at the Terrell Heritage Museum featuring a wide variety of artifacts from Terrell’s past, housed in the Carnegie Library Building built in 1904. We make one last pit stop at Buc-ee’s before heading home.

Confused by Medicare? Whether you are aging into Medicare this year or are already enrolled, come to this complimentary workshop which will cover part A, B, C, and D of this government health benefit that can be quite confusing. Come and learn more about the basics and intricacies of Medicare at this session which will be hosted by Matt Curry, a licensed insurance agent. Topics to be covered include the differences between basic government Medicare, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, Part D drug plans, and former employer supplemental coverage available to some participants. This is an educational event so no need to bring your checkbook. This event is for you to relax and ask questions to be better informed about your choices.
