DIY Photo Organizing: How to Take Back Control of Your Digital Photo Life (Presented by Mary Boyle Decluttered LLC - DFW) Are you overwhelmed with the thousands of photos taking up storage space on your phone, unable to find “that one” photo when you need it? Or maybe you have boxes of printed photos sitting in a storage closet that you plan to do something with “someday”, but never get around to it. If organizing your photo collection has been on your To Do list, then January is the perfect time to get started! Gardening Tools, Supplies, & Suppliers SOUND HEALING Sound healing works by using specific sound frequencies to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms. Sound therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system which is our rest and digest state and can reduce our cortisol levels that are increased in the body during stress. This allows for deep relaxation, mindfulness, and reduces racing thoughts that can cause anxiety. Joanne Fernandez of Sama Holistic Wellness will provide an overview of sound healing, as well as what to expect during a session. She will then do a brief guided meditation and will play singing bowls, chimes etc. The session will close with what to expect after a sound bath.
