This class will prepare your small tot physically and emotionally to perform in organized sports. Skills like throwing, catching, kicking, and gymnastics will be practiced during class. Your tot will work through team stations and perform tasks that gradually build confidence in a fun and kid friendly environment.
These classes will develop poise and coordination while teaching the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Classes will create group interaction skills and support your child’s self-esteem and positive image. Children will also develop rhythm and music appreciation skills. Students may wear a leotard, tights, and ballet and/or tap shoes.

YOUTH CLASSES Summer Volleyball League The league is designed to introduce young ladies to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the basic premises of the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of a minimum of 8 players and maximum of 12 players. Teams will practice an hour each week. Players will receive a team t-shirt. Registration can be completed online or in person. To register, the team coach must contact the Recreation Department at 817.503.1180 with their team information. At that time, the coach will be given a team code to give to their team to register. Signing up as an individual or a free agent does not guarantee your child a spot on a team. A coach will have to volunteer in order for a team of free agents to be formed. If and when a coach volunteers, a staff member will contact individuals with team information. If you would like to coach, please call 817-503-1180 for more details. One. Soccer School Camp One. Soccer School Camp sets itself apart from other youth sports education providers because they apply an innovative 10-step curriculum that incorporates SAQ (skills, agility, and quickness), yoga, and Footvolley (a cross between soccer and volleyball), among other tactics, to teach players the necessary skills to excel. Each player receives a pro jersey, shorts and socks, along with a pro training ball, and a backpack. In addition, they get professional youth training from top class coaches from all over the world. Got Nature? Got Nature…we do! Campers will explore nature by hiking, rolling over logs, sifting through soil, and searching for animals that call the Nature Center home. Integrity Volleyball Club Clinic This unique program offers the opportunity to train to play volleyball at the club level. Participants will have 3 practice sessions with Integrity coaches and each session will include 75-90 minutes of skill development and 3045 minutes of game like play that will apply these skills. We will also work on offensive and defensive transitions and court positioning during the 3045 minutes of game like situations. This program trains players to play club volleyball at the 10U - 13U level and is a great place to get started on getting ready for Middle School Volleyball! MAX OF 40 PLAYERS. Wonders of Water
Beginner Golf Camp
Splash into the world of water at the Colleyville Nature Center! Campers will learn about the riparian area and explore what lives above and below the water in our creeks and ponds through experiments and activities.
Specialized golf instruction clinic featuring a curriculum designed just for kids. This program includes instruction on driving, chipping, scoring, game play, and etiquette. Our goal is for the player to become more confident with their golf swing and equipment. We also teach golf rules and strategy. Children will need to bring a snack, water, sunscreen, and may bring golf clubs or use ours.

Flag Football TECH Camp Flag Football for elementary age players. It is a combination of QB skills clinic and a traditional flag football program. Junior Police Academy During this one week mini academy, the students will gain knowledge of some of the functions their local law enforcement professionals perform on a daily basis. The students will learn pertinent information that can affect them in their community. Officers of the Colleyville Police Department provide the students instruction on many different facets of the police profession, including traffic stops, handling crime scenes, SWAT operations, and conducting building searches. YOUTH CLASSES Yoga Flow Basics
Gentle Stretch Yoga
Each month, the class begins by teaching basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As the class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow using these poses and synchronizing them with proper breathing. Each class utilizes warm-up poses to allow deeper stretching and cooldown poses to release the muscles and allow for complete relaxation. No experience necessary. The class is designed to provide options for all levels. A discount is available to Senior Center members.
This gentle class, practiced to soothing music, combines Level 1 poses, breath work, and meditation. It is geared toward students who wish to move at a slower pace, as well as those that desire a more gentle practice between their more vigorous activities. Props are used for gentle relaxation and deepening the restorative benefits of the poses.

Candlelight Yin Yoga ‘Plus’ This form of yoga uses long, gentle, passive holds to work on the deep dense connective tissues of the body. Longer holds facilitate deeper opening, increased flexibility, and rehabilitation for the joints and muscles. Yin also promotes your meditative or stillness state. Restorative Yin & Yoga Nidra Come in out of the summer heat and chill-lax! Chill and relax with this much deserved restorative afternoon. Aikido - A Traditional Japanese Martial Art Aikido focuses on natural movement to neutralize attacks through harmonization, centering, and relaxation. Unlike other martial arts, training does not emphasize punching or kicking. Students learn situational and self-awareness to execute Aikido techniques. Loose clothing is recommended. YOUTH CLASSES Heartfulness Meditation Heartfulness is a simple and effective way to integrate meditation into our daily life. The hearftulness technique shows us to gently turn our attention towards our heart and experience that inner presence for ourselves. The course consists of a description of the technique, followed by a guided relaxation session and a meditation session. The courses are for people seeking relaxation, individual meditation practice, or to develop the deepest connection to one’s own inner being. Yoga Flow Basics Each month, the class begins by teaching basic alignment of selected poses, breath work, and meditation. As the class progresses, new poses are added creating a flow using these poses and synchronizing them with proper breathing. Each class utilizes warm-up poses to allow deeper stretching and cool-down poses to release the muscles and allow for complete relaxation. No experience necessary. The class is designed to provide options for all levels. Mr. Stockyards VIP Tour A one of a kind adventure in the Fort Worth Stockyards, this VIP walking tour offers unprecedented access to the Stockyard’s best attractions. This 2.5 hour tour will weave throughout the heart of the Stockyards stopping at all of the secret spots with Mr. Stockyards telling you the legendary stories that helped the Fort Worth Stockyards become a national treasure. This is the only tour that goes behind-the-scenes at Billy Bob’s Texas and Cowtown Coliseum, the two most popular attractions in the Stockyards.
