The West Chapter Awards Program is an annual initiative in which PGA Professionals in the Colorado PGA West Chapter are nominated by their colleagues in all different areas of expertise - celebrating the best of the best in the Chapter Not noted or pictured below are both Camille Enright (Women's Player of the Year) and Mike Bryant (Salesperson of the Year) due to their recent moves out of the Section.

The Warren Smith Award is awarded to a PGA Professional for special contributions to the game of golf, the Colorado Section, junior golf, and to their facility The successful candidate will bestow special recognition for outstanding contributions to the game and the Section Contributions to community charities, junior golf, and facility are some of the criteria considered The honor should be awarded based on a professional’s entire career as a PGA Member Due to the special circumstances of this award, the Committee reserves the right only to recognize an individual for this award when warranted
Billstrausbaughaward
Established in 1979, the Bill Strausbaugh Award is presented to a PGA Professional who, by their day-to-day efforts, has distinguished themselves by mentoring their fellow PGA Professionals in improving their employment situations and through service to the community The award reflects the characteristics and qualities of Strausbaugh, a Middle Atlantic PGA Master Professional who died in 1999 Award candidates should demonstrate a record of service to their Section or Association, leadership ability, involvement in civic activities and local charitable causes within their community, and be recognized as someone of outstanding character
Privatemerchandiseroftheyear
The Merchandiser of the Year award recognizes Colorado PGA Members who have demonstrated superior skills as merchandisers in the promotion of golf Awarded in three categories (Private, Resort, and Public/Municipal/Military/Semi-Private), credit rating, community involvement, staffing, inventory, displays, and merchandising techniques are some of the criteria considered for this award.
