Chapman It’s quite difficult to explain where Alice is from, with her having lived in England, Kuwait, America, Bahrain and Australia. With an accent that can't be placed, Alice has become expert at adapting to cultures, greatly shaping who she is today. Fascinated from an early age with the power of a camera in her hands, Alice loves to capture a moment in time for everyone to see. She has had her work published in the West Australian, a Perth Fashion Festival Feature, and Bahrain Confidential, and was a winner of the Wasp Hair Australia Drag Queen Competition. Her favourite subjects are people and animals, and loves working with large creative teams: going through chaotic organisation and then watching it all come together. She draws inspiration from a photo of her Grandpa whom she hardly knew; he was creative in a lot of fields and passed away when she was very young. Maher With the success of his solo exhibition that was held last year, titled Grand Blunder, Beau made his mark in the photography world. From the age of 18 when he picked up his mother's SLR film camera, he has created a lot of memories in his creative journey. His career and creative influence started to take shape two years later when he started to develop his own unique style and approach. Beau’s style of photography has a vintage feel to it, bringing a nostalgic effect to his pieces. His style is heavily influenced by his love of film cameras, which have a quality of honesty in what they capture. He has done wedding shoots and shot for musicians, such as Tired Lions and Wise Oaks. Beau is always ready for the next shoot, whether he is overseas or outside on his door step. He is always thinking about what his next project will be and how he can further refine his style. You can find Beau's works on his Facebook page on facebook.com/beaumaherphoto.

Ebony spent her childhood in the small country town of Dwellingup, where she still lives today. As a visually orientated person, she has always had a natural affinity for art and design. She got her first camera in 2011 and started taking photos of anything and everything. Starting on a little Sony DSLR, Ebony went on adventures around the forests and rivers near her home. Photography has allowed her to capture the beauty she sees in nature and people. She has a passion for surreal imagery and portraiture in nature and loves to take photos of the relationship between people and the natural environment. Growing up in the forest gave her a real appreciation of the beauty of untouched wilderness. Her desire is to continue to capture the bountiful beauty of our Earth. Ebony also works in her family's studio making sculptures, and photographs weddings and artists' work.

Marjorie Hannah is eighteen and was born in Perth. Very recently, she has moved to New York to study film at New York University. From the age of ten she began experimenting with her parents' cameras. Photography is a creative outlet for Hannah and she has always loved the idea that a single frame can have the potential to capture so much. Working by herself and occasionally collaborating with others, Hannah is most inspired by photographer Jeff Wall and mesmerised by his ability to make potentially mundane scenes into magic. Hannah dreams of taking things further with her photography, and wishes to one day become a music supervisor responsible for the placement of music in film, television and advertising.

Yarwood Jake has been shooting professionally for over three years. He admires a plethora of styles and photographers, and draws inspiration from literature, music, and cinema. Jake's work spans across all archetypal subjects of photography. He has an experimental philosophy towards photography, endeavouring to deepen his theoretical and technical knowledge. Inspired by the photographic medium as one of the few things that can transcend differences in culture and language, he uses it as a way to question issues of the human condition. It is life itself that fuels him to pursue his creative medium; Jake's passion comes from his experience of just being out there in the world and living. Jake currently earns a living off his photography and hopes to publish photo books and curate photography exhibitions within the next year.

haliesah

Anastasi Khaliesah was born in Singapore, but grew up in Karratha until the age of 5, when the family moved to Perth. At 22 she is going head on into her ideal industry, fashion photography. She loves all things fashion and fine artwork. After studying Creative Advertising and Graphic Design, she ventured into photography during her final year, drawing inspiration from the big fashion ‘bibles’ such as Vogue, Bazaar, and niche fashion magazines. She was selected to appear in the Joondalup Festival and Urban Couture pop up installation Behind the Camera. Her style gravitates to sexy elegance, high fashion, sophistication, and a hint of allure and seduction. What inspires her the most is her desire to create beautiful images: aesthetics, beautiful artwork in every medium, drawings, paintings, and digital design. If it's beautiful, she is inspired.

Norman

Kirk was born in Perth and, after a period of moving around small country towns, settled in Mandurah with his wife and two children. He has a passion for photography that started three years ago. He is now undertaking a Certificate IV in Design through Open Colleges. In January 2014, Kirk started up Kirk N Photography. He began shooting underwater photography around local diving spots and now shoots fitness models, musicians, and motor vehicles. Kirk takes a fresh and 'cool' approach to photography that is constantly evolving and loves portraits that 'pop' rather than soothe. His inspiration comes from the work of photographers like Zack Arias: their way with lighting gives their images the edge that draws him in. Images that express the inner spirit of the model, connections that draw the viewer’s eyes into who the subject is, is what he looks for and seeks to achieve. As a photographer his job is to find out what they're all about and express it in a single image or series. You can visit Kirk’s website here: http://www.kirknphotography.com.au

Lucinda's creative journey started as a fresh faced 18-year-old in Melbourne where she had a passion for live music and a blossoming interest in photography. Lucinda combined the two after watching the photographers scramble in the pit at Falls Festival 2010. Completing a Cert 4/Diploma in Photoimaging in 2012, she used all her spare time to photograph nationaland international acts for a handful of magazines that took a chance on her as part of their photographic teams. Lucinda's work focuses on crisp, vibrant imagery, capturing movement and emotion on stage. She likes capturing “moments” in live performance, showing the audience a snapshot of performers live presence. Now as a regular pit goer she has seen it all: she's been kicked in the head by Jake Stone of Bluejuice, hadvBliss N Eso Point down her lens, snapped Matt Corby three times in a week, flown to Sydney to shoot a three-day festival, been crushed by crowd surfers, seen multiple streakers at the annual Reclink Cup, and witnessed a beard appreciation gig with The Beards. She is a regular contributor to nine online and print magazines, photographing on average three or four gigs a week. She has recently come full circle, shooting Falls Festival 2014, the event that kicked off her career. You can see more of Lucinda’s work here: https://www.facebook.com/lucindagoodwinphotography

Meredith is a 25-year-old from Derby, Western Australia who has moved to Fremantle to work as a freelance film maker, with her main focus being cinematography. Her lifelong love of photography started as a kid when she got her hands on a few disposable cameras. She has collected a variety of cameras and been in pursuit of creating powerful images ever since. As a film maker, she has an appreciation for a structured approach and draws a lot of inspiration from the works of Annie Leibovitz and Gregory Crewdson. However, her own style is somewhat more organic and fluid: she likes to photograph impromptu and natural moments. She admires any photographer who can capture a moment on the fly using natural light and finding beautiful composition. She finds creativity most exciting when there's a challenge to catch a moment without being entirely sure of what you're going to get. Her dream is to be able pursue photography hand in hand with her goal as a cinematographer and just make beautiful pictures.
