I have strong opinions on most subjects.
I’m not someone who just agrees with
people to get along.
I’ve always had the idea that knowing people is not enough. You have to make something of/for yourself.
This issue of Commonuncommon started off in my head one day when someone asked me: ‘what do you think about contemporary fashion?’ After going over it in my mind, I’ve come to the conclusion that an independent spirit, a dynamic lust for life, and a certain innate and elegant sense of refinement that transcends the ages and their social context would be a good start-point. I wanted to show you all of these qualities through a man and a woman, a couple of lovers, taken in their private context, to put in evidence that the whole fashion and social value system had begun to dissolve and would require a new vision.
I like pictures and magazines that you can look back on, a bit on the classic side.
That’s what I call Modernism.
Enjoy it, with critical eyes. But smiling.
