AGE 90 - PLAINWELL, MI

Dawn Forney, of Plainwell, Michigan passed away January 26, 2025 at Life Care Center surrounded by family Dawn was born May 6 1934 to parents Frank and Marjorie Youtzy Dawn grew up in the Allegan/Otsego area On January 18, 1969 Dawn married Ralph Forney of Scotts, Michigan Dawn loved holidays (especially Christmas), shopping, Friday night bonfires with her family and tutoring kids at Allegan Street Elementary Dawn was a homemaker as well as an owner and operator of Josh s Ice Cream with her husband Ralph in Otsego Surviving are her four children: Josh (Serena) Forney, Diane (Vince) Beam, Tad Nichols and Haley Marshall; grandchildren: Bambi and Calvin Forney; and several other grandchildren and greatgrandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Forney, her daughter Michelle, her mother, father, brother and sister According to her wishes, cremation has taken place

AGE 65 - PLAINWELL, MI

Steven went to be with our Lord on November 20, 2024 at Life Care Center in Plainwell, MI He was born on April 19, 1959 in Salem, NE, the son of Marion and Reba Koenig He proudly served in the Navy and Naval Reserves

Steven loved working with computers and had his own business for several years He was also very interested in anything to do with outer space and science On April 12, 2001, he married the love of his life, Karon Lee Owens He is survived by his two sisters, Marion Rebecca Koenig and Marijane Elizabeth Koenig and four brothers: Robert Koenig, Ronnie Koenig (Wanda), Louis Koenig (Sherrie), and Christopher Koenig and several nieces and nephews, all of Oregon Steven is preceded in death by his parents According to his wishes, cremation has taken place There will be no memorial at this time
