Agnes passed away, Monday, July 15, 2024, at Kauhale in Otsego She was born in Lennon, Michigan, on November 25, 1925, the daughter of Michael and Anna Poprick Agnes had many jobs over the years, including purchasing secretary at Brundage Fan, manager of an art gallery in Kalamazoo and was an assistant to Dr Redmond, also in Kalamazoo She taught 4-H classes and was an RCIA instructor Agnes was a woman of strong faith and was a member of St Margaret Catholic Church and the League of Mary In her free time, she enjoyed reading and entertaining family and friends On November 5, 1946, she married Thomas L Dean who passed away in 1994
Surviving are her children, Sharon Dean Lynch, Tom (Kathleen) Dean, Peggy (Martin) Gochnour, Michael L Dean and Patrick T (Janet) Dean; 10 grandchildren, Kristin, Matthew, Aaron, Jacob, Brittany, Danielle, Michael Jr , Jeffrey, Andrea and Rachel and 4 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Bailey, Jon Austin and Brice She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel; siblings, Mary Newsome and Betty Nieding and by her half-brothers, Frank and John Gall Burial will take place at 1:00 P M Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 P M , Friday, August 16, 2024, at St Margaret Catholic Church with Rev Fr Simon Manjooran officiating Contributions in memory of Agnes may be made to St Margaret Catholic Church

Patsy Ann Nyberg, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & dear friend passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024 Patsy was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to James & Lula (Kniss) Armstrong on June 10, 1937 She grew up the only girl with three brothers but that only made her strong and ready to face the world She grew up in Plainwell, graduating from Plainwell High School in 1955 While in High School, she met the love of her life Larry Nyberg They were married on November 10, 1956, and spend 55 wonderful years together Their family grew to include three children and they made their home in Plainwell Patsy treasured her friends and had many wonderful memories with them She loved to cook and what she cooked was amazing Everyone was always welcome at her table She always made enough food for an army and always had an empty chair for a guest Patsy was also a very talented seamstress; making curtains and anything the family needed Painting was another talent of hers and she enjoyed painting nature and painting rocks She loved to be outdoors spending time in her flower garden She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Larry as well as her two older brothers: Jim and Jerry Patsy is survived by her children: Scott (Cindy) Nyberg Monica (Ray) Mikowski Kerry (Carl) Wilkes; seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher (Vicki), Cassie (Kenny), Katie, Allie (Kade), Jill (Johnny), and Carl (Jackie); four great grandchildren: Dominic, Taylor, Madeline and Hudson She is also survived by her brother Jack as well as several special nieces and nephews and many close friends Patsy will be greatly missed by those who knew her, those she paved the way for, and those who were touched by her kindness and generosity Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Gun River Conservation Club or Christian Neighbors of Plainwell Following her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 3 from Noon-3pm at the Gun River Conservation Club, 689 11th St , Plainwell, MI 49080

Eva G Thompson passed away at the age of 66 on June 28th, 2024, in Kalamazoo at Ascension Borgess Hospital after a brief illness She was born on October 26, 1957, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Vernon and Marie (Chapman) Thompson and lived most of her life in Otsego, Michigan
Eva was a 1975 graduate of Otsego High School
She was employed at Medilodge of Westwood in Kalamazoo as a Business Office Manager for 43 years where she then retired in 2019 Eva formed some very special lifelong friendships that she treasured She loved bowling in a league, found great joy in golfing, and was a die-hard Detroit Lions Fan Eva’s unwavering love and dedication to family was never ending and she was always there to help at any time She cherished time spent with family and her friends Surviving is her half-brother, uncles, several cousins, and her special fur babies, Teddy and Joey Preceding Eva in death are her parents; stepfather, Edward Ordiway and brother, Ronald Thompson Eva leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her, and she will be deeply missed by all In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest in Otsego, MI
There will be a Celebration of Life for Eva on Saturday, August 10th from 1:00-4:00pm at the Fidelity Masonic Lodge #513, 133 East Allegan Street, Otsego, MI 49078 Contributions in memory of Eva may be made out to a charity of your choice
