He is a little bit of everything including sweetness added of course! We have discovered that Heinz is a little lover boy, as he cuddles up in a lap and does not leave until he is moved. “Finding Strength in Weakness” “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to

show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us” - 11 Corinthians 4:7

One of the most profound truths of the Christian faith is that God chooses to live in human vessels. What is even more amazing is that God can use believers to serve Him in spite of human frailty. In this same letter Paul testifies, “… For when I am weak, then am I strong” (II Corinthians 12:10). Question: How can one find strength in weakness? Answer: By understanding God is our source of strength. Notice in II Corinthians 4:7 the focus is not on perishable human containers (“jars of clay”) but on the priceless contents – the power of Christ within us. Thus, one can never use human weakness/imperfection as an excuse for not serving God. For the good news is that God specializes in using weak vessels to carry on His work. Moses had a speech problem. Abraham was afraid. Noah got drunk. Gideon had low self-esteem. David was an adulterer. Peter was hottempered. Paul was not very good looking. But of such material God built His kingdom on earth. Let us move forward believing, though we are weak, God has empowered us to be strong in Him. Prayer: Lord, help us to find our strength in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
