AGE 87 – OTSEGO, MI

Lorraine passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 in Kalamazoo. She was born October 4, 1928 in Allegan to Clarence and Florence (Blair) Simpson. For 11 years she had worked at Perrigo until her retirement in 1991. Lorraine was a people person who loved the Lord and her family. In her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles, going to yard sales with her husband, square dancing and reading. On November 23, 1946 in Hopkins she married Robert Henry who passed away in 2011. Surviving are their children, Robert Henry, Jr of Gobles, Patricia (Bill) D’Amore-Parsons of Plainwell, Kay Hatten of Gobles, Gary (Barb) Henry of Gobles and Diane Talsma of Plainwell; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-great-grandchildren; her brothers, Maurice, John and Roger (Jane) Simpson and sisters-in-law, Martha and Janet Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandchildren, Lisa, Tony and Cass; sons-in-law, Denny and Don; siblings, Betty MacDonald, Clayton Simpson, Robert Simpson and Geraldine Blake. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Pastor Ray Brown officiated. Burial followed at Miner Cemetery in Watson Township with Sister Rita officiating.
