Embark on an armchair tour of this ancient land After first viewing the Biblical Mt Ararat from its capital city, Yerevan, we’ll explore Areni Cave where archeologists have unearthed a 6000 year old wine press, an array of fermenting vats and storage pots We’ll follow the trail of prehistoric standing stones, Armenia’s Stonehenge, marching across the mountaintop, visit a pagan temple complex, and a monastery carved into a mountain with holy water seeping through its rocky walls And we will learn the truth about the holocaust perpetrated by the Ottoman Turks in 1915 in which 1.5 million Armenians lost their lives.

Bring your child and their friends to celebrate a birthday at the Community Pool! There will be staff on site to assist with check in, set up and tear down Birthday hosts should plan for light clean up of party and refreshment areas
Parental supervision is required All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group
Birthday groups will have use of the pool for 1 hour with 1 hour reserved pool lobby space for cake and refreshments (provided by the family). Lifeguard and additional aquatic staffing will be provided and 2 adults must be present for the duration of the party

ECFE is inviting the whole family to join us for a hayride through the 40 acre pumpkin patch at Lendt's Farm! Once we get on the hay ride the first stop will be the inside of an inactive bee hive to learn how honey bees work Then we will head over to the pumpkin patch where everyone will get to pick any size pumpkin from the field The last stop will be to the corn field where everyone gets to pick out one large and one small Indian corn along with one popcorn on the cob! You will receive instructions on how to pop the popcorn too!
Picnic tables are available to have lunch or a snack from home, after the hayride You will also have a chance to play in the corn pit, take some photos in the many, cute photo ops available, and do some extra shopping if you would like

This is for wrestlers looking to compete in tournaments and ready to perfect learned techniques 2nd graders who have at least one year of experience can register for this class, otherwise they should register for the K-2 class Wrestling at the youth level incorporates many different training methods including tumbling and relays to work on agility This clinic uses a systematic progression of wrestling moves that are appropriate for each age level.

HALLOWEEN BOOGIE DANCE | AGES 12 & UNDER
You can come for the night, you can come for a flash but come to have fun at our Halloween bash! Join us for dancing, pumpkin bowling, face painting, games, refreshments and so much more! It’s all included in the family fee. And don’t forget, scare up a fright, costumes are a must on this night! Don't forget to come hungry because we'll have delicious pizza and juice available for purchase
All ages are welcome to attend, just note that the activities are geared for ages 12 and under.

Wear all your Neon Colors and get ready for a night full of Nerf wars, music and games! Participants MUST bring their own Nerf blasters! We will included barriers, Foam Darts, and safety glasses for the participants. Also, please register your participants that are participating And if you're going to register more than one child, please add the other child's name with grade. (No Mega Darts or Balls allowed).

ESPORTS FALL CLUB SEASON | GR 9-12
Season three of Esports returns to Chisago Lakes! MNVL has merged with Fenworks and they are making several changes to the season structure This fall will be a "Club Season" with the main competition season being held during the traditional winter sports season. This is an exciting opportunity for students to engage in competitive video gaming CLVL is going to be part of the MNVL (Minnesota Video League)/Fenworks merged league and will compete against area school districts

Join your friends at ski/snowboard club on Fridays this winter!! This club will provide transportation after school to Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls Equipment & Lessons: Bring skis/snowboard equipment
Equipment must not be transported to school on the regular school bus
Parents must drop off equipment between 7-7:30am to be stored at Chisago Lakes Middle School - Locker room Equipment may be rented at Wild Mountain each week for $25 (includes skis/snowboard and helmet)

District Spelling Bee open to students in grades 5 through 8 currently enrolled in Chisago Lakes Public Schools The Spelling Bee will be held at the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and will be open to spectators Three spellers will advance to the regional Spelling Bee
