Welcome to our Winter 2024/25 catalog! We hope you find something exciting for you and your family among the many opportunities we’ve worked hard to offer.
We’re thrilled to announce that Vanessa Gilbert is the winner of our Winter Catalog cover photo contest! Her beautiful photo was selected from 22 amazing submissions—thank you to everyone who participated. We are looking for our next Spring/Summer Catalog cover as well. If you have a photo that you would like to submit, please see the ad below.
We’re expanding personal training options at the Wildcat Community Center (WCC) and invite you to explore these offerings. Don’t miss our first-ever Wedding Expo on Saturday, January 18—vendors are encouraged to register!
For Early Childhood families, we have exciting new experiences on page 6. Kids Club staff are also planning ahead for summer 2025 and the 2025–26 school year. Learn more on page 9 if you need childcare for those seasons.
We’re introducing foreign language classes for all ages—find details throughout the catalog. The Forever Young Club is hosting a "Dine & Discover" event on Thursday, February 13, 2025, featuring tours of local attractions (see page 37).

During ECFE classes, there is time together for parents and children along with parent discussion time
Welcoming children birth to 5 years old Come and engage in purposeful and interactive play with your children in this class of movers and shakers. Parents and children stay together for the first half of class while enjoying regular classroom activities along with movement areas, art, and story time Parents and children will participate in an interactive circle time with singing and movement Parents will then separate during the second half of class to engage in deeper parent discussion while children continue to play in the classroom

Parent/guardians participation on parent/child days is required, as activities set up in the classroom are designed for children to do with their parents/guardians

Help Me Grow provides resources for families to look at development milestones, to learn if there are concerns, and to take the lead in seeking additional support or in referring their child for a comprehensive, confidential screening or evaluation at no cost Minnesota children from birth to 5 years, if found eligible, can receive services in their home, child care setting or school These services are free regardless of income or immigrant status

Little Wildcats Preschool is designed to prepare children and families for the transition to kindergarten We focus on prereading, writing, and communication skills, number awareness and social skills.
Certified teachers and classroom assistants plan daily large group activities, focused small group activities, snack time and individual choice time at learning centers in the classroom
Authentic assessments are used to ensure that children are on track for school success

Chisago Lakes Community Education and Right Away Driving School are teaming up to provide the service in greater detail to the Chisago Lakes Area The class will be held right here on the CLHS campus in the Lecture Hall Here are the parameters of the course.
30 HOURS OF CLASS: Students under 18 must complete 30 hours of in class instruction before they are able to take the permit test Once the 30 hours of classroom is complete RAD will issue a “Blue card” Students will take the blue card to the DMV as proof of course completion in order to take the permit test Once your child passes the permit test at the DMV they can drive with someone over the age of 21.
WHAT IS THE TYPICAL CLASS LIKE? WHAT IS NEEDED?: Monday- Friday, 3 hours each day. Workouts will include progression throughout the course tailored for everyone from the beginner to advanced athlete. In 2015, this young organization raised enough money to purchase this historic old church building with the vision of turning it into a center for the arts Today, the Hallberg Center for the Arts hosts new exhibits, concerts, and classes every month.

Join us on this bus trip to a Chanhassen Dinner Theatre Matinee! Introduction to basic swimming skills and having fun in the water!
Progressive skills include rhythmic bobbing, back float with a float belt, back glide and flutter kick with float belt, submerging and breath holding for up to 8 seconds
For children ages 6 years old and older
Progressive skills include front glide and flutter kick, back glide and flutter kick, front stroke, front crawl, backcrawl, retrieving objects from bottom, treading water, introduction to diving, sidestroke, breast stroke and survival float
Our aquatic facility includes a 25 meter wide by 25 yard long eight lane main pool
Water depth ranges from 3'6" to 12'
Air temperature is 83-85 degrees
Water temperature is 82-84 degrees
The main pool includes an attached diving well of 12' depth with two one-meter springboards.
We have a separate 10' x 20' wading pool designed for infants and preschoolers
Water depth ranges from 1' to 1'6"
Water temperature is 88-90 degrees
Bring your child and their friends to celebrate a birthday at the Community Pool! There will be staff on site to assist with check in, set up and clean up Birthday hosts should plan for light clean up of party and refreshment areas Parental supervision is required All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group
Birthday groups will have use of the pool for 1 hour with 1 hour reserved pool lobby space for cake and refreshments (provided by the family). Lifeguard and additional aquatic staffing will be provided and 2 adults must be present for the duration of the party
Cost is $190 for 10 kids - additional $5 per child with a 15 child max

Only swimwear permitted in the pool
Spectator seating is open during swim lessons, lap swim and open swim
Showers are required by all participants before entering the pool
Use of water wings, floating toys, rafts, inner tubes, nose covered goggles, etc is not allowed
No food or beverage, other than water, are allowed on the pool deck or in the spectator seating area
$40 for 10 punches
The pool punch pass can be used by an individual or a family (each person attending uses a punch) The pool punch never expires!
Pool punch passes can be used for lap or open swim
