The Eagles rebounded to win after dropping their first game of the New Year, 46-43, Jan. 4, against Lake Country Lutheran at CLS. The game against Lake Country Lutheran was tied at 43-43 when the visitors scored a bucket and a free throw to go up by three points. Cagers fall to Martin Luther A trip to Greendale was on the docket for the Christian Life boys varsity basketball team Jan. 7, to take on host Martin Luther. The Eagles played strong in the first half, trailing by just three at 35-32, but then the Spartans came alive and pulled away with a 74-52 victory in Midwest Classic Conference play. The win leveled the Eagles’ overall record at 4-4 and their league record at 2-2.
