I am your blue Monday

Exercise Be sure to take some time out for exercise today. Just put on your sneakers and go outdoors for a breath of fresh air. You could also decide to visit the gym today. Even if it’s only for half an hour, treat yourself to some of those wonderful endorphins that are released when you exercise. Just see: you will feel much better. Eat well A “blue” feeling can be connected to a vitamin deficiency. There are plenty of nutrients that can contribute to making you feel better. Fatty fish, like salmon, mackerel and trout, is packed with vitamin D. Eggs and dairy products will also help you attain a healthy vitamin D level. Craving a snack? Dark chocolate is delicious, healthy and produces serotonin (the chemical substance that induces happiness) in the brain. So go for it! Have a good laugh Do you enjoy exciting films? Choose a nice film to watch this evening, or read a light-hearted book or magazine. Laughter helps, and will make you feel cheerful. Of course, sharing a good laugh with your family or friends is always a good idea, too. Go to bed on time It is always difficult, but do try to go to bed on time tonight. If you catch seven to nine hours of sleep you will awaken sufficiently rested and be able to concentrate better tomorrow and get through the day feeling much fitter.
