The 16th century, Grade II listed manor house which was built as a home for the first Earl of Strafford, Sir Thomas Wentworth, now offers a quality home-fromhome experience with tasty fresh menus for all to enjoy.

A refreshed conservatory with decorative ceiling drapes offers fantastic farreaching views over open fields. The exterior also has a fresh look and features a lovely new swing sign.

This is such a special pub, with so much history and charm, and now it is even better! The refurbishment has carefully balanced all the original features and character of this lovely building with a touch of comfort.
