Party Mums came to the rescue when they were asked to plan and create an intimate family birthday picnic for a quaran’teen’ager celebrating a milestone birthday during lockdown. The birthday girl’s love of lemons fit perfectly with the theme ‘When life gives you lemons, make lemonade’. Party highlights included beautiful scalloped edged tableware with gold foil detail, a white mini drinks trolley serving fresh homemade lemonade, mini lemon balloon straws and a bespoke lemon shaped piñata. The party centrepiece was a vintage dressing table filled with balloons, flowers and eucalyptus, displaying sweet treats which included mini popcorn boxes, chocolate bars, push pop sweeties and personalised cookies. All perfectly matched to the party theme. h
