She is the owner and operator of several recovery homes as well as the owner and Executive Director of Drexel Counseling Services, Inc.

Ms. Hardin Earl holds a Masters degree in Health Sciences, specializing in Addiction Studies She has built enduring relationships in the substance abuse treatment community. The transition from counseling professional to service provider began in 2002, when the first Hardin House Women’s Recovery Home was born on the Southside of Chicago. This flagship location continues to operate successfully today.

Kathy Hardin Earl opened Drexel Counseling Services in 2007 to service the Level I & Level II treatment and methadone maintenance needs for the surrounding addiction community. She has provided oversight to several treatment and recovery programs which is her passion. Her goal is to help as many substance dependent individuals as possible to recover and live substance free and meaningful lives.

Her full-time staff consists of; Assistant Director, 2 Physicians, 2 RN’s, 6 rotating part-time LPN’s, 12 Counselors, 3 House Managers, over a half dozen support and administration employees including an Office Manager, Human Resources Manager, and various other staff members completing the DCS/ HH, Inc employment force.

Executive Director, Prentice Place Sober Living About Mr. Earl has been working in the field of substance abuse since 1998. He is the founder and Executive Director of Prentice Place Sober Living. The Agency provides recovery home housing as well as level I and level II treatment services for men in recovery. His program has assisted in rehabilitating the lives of countless individuals upon their release from various State penal institutions.
