Who is your favourite overall character from your books and why? Villains are really important for stories. I love the character of Burt from Ratburger. I learnt from Roald Dahl that it’s a good idea to make your villains as funny as they are scary, so I hopefully achieved that with him. Which story or scene makes you laugh out loud the most? The scene that I enjoy reading most to kids is the naked yoga scene from Gangsta Granny. She’s not actually naked, she’s in her underwear, but it always gets a good laugh, as it's a bit naughty and unexpected!
