How you can make a difference

NOVEMBER 2014 This month’s edition of our newsletter is dedicated completely to bringing awareness and abatement of Human Trafficking.

Welcome

With over 26 million women and children caught in human slavery, the response MUST be to help. Human trafficking is a brutal human rights abuse. It is the fastest growing and second largest criminal industry in the world, second only to drug trafficking. The average entry age of a minor exploited in sex trafficking is just 12-14 years old. The prevalence and anonymity of the internet has fueled the rapid growth of sex trafficking, making the trade of women and children easier than ever before.

What can you do? Join us at Sweet Rescue, December, 13 2014, at The District, Tustin Legacy for an evening of great music and food. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funding to abate Human Trafficking. This year, 100% of the funds raised will benefit Forgotten Children Inc., a local charity committed to addressing the problem in Southern California.

Save the date on your calendar today and consider a significant gift to help address this issue. Invite a friend to attend Sweet Rescue with you!

Sweet Rescue 2014 STEP 3: ATTEND

We’d like to personally invite you to Sweet Rescue Saturday, December 13, 2014 The District, Tustin Legacy 7-9pm. There are few things more important to us than the issue of abating human trafficking. Although the statistics are staggering, it’s really about changing one life at a time - both around the world and in our own backyard. Imagine, a woman well into her senior years feeling the compelling need to do something about the issue of Human Trafficking. She doesn’t just think about it but she just does it. This is the story of Paula Daniels. This year, we have the opportunity to come along side her endeavor, through Forgotten Children. 100% of the funds raised this year go to support Forgotten Children Inc. Plan on joining us for an incredible evening celebrating Christmas, redemption and new life for those Forgotten Children. We look forward to seeing you on December 13th.
