Jesus warned his disciples: “Watch out that no-one deceives you.” The Spirit of God clearly predicted that in the later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. Paul revealed that the antichrist, “whose coming is after the working of Satan, will exhibit all power and signs and lying wonders.” Jesus also warned that “even the elect” could be deceived, signifying the danger of being drawn away from the truth. As long as we look to the Lord for discernment, guidance and protection, and test spirits with the Word of God, we’ll be able to withstand strong temptations. The necessity to put spirits to the test is mentioned in 1 John 4: 1, “Dear friends, don’t believe every spirit that comes along, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” The Book of Revelation indicates that very soon Satan will become increasingly aggressive because the Evil One knows his time to wreak havoc on earth is limited. Evolution will deceive many. The media has been buzzing with news that another supposed human ancestor has been found in a cave in Africa. Evolutionist Lee Berger claimed the remains are not human but are a “bridge” between bipeds-- apes and humans. London’s Natural History Museum’s Chris Stringer, another evolutionist, claims Homo Naledi and similar discoveries suggest “nature was experimenting with how to evolve humans, giving rise to several different types of humanlike creatures originating in parallel in different
parts of Africa.” However, the only eyewitness account of human origins is provided by God our Creator in the Book of Genesis in the Bible. Evolutionists can only speculate that there were intermediate evolutionary links between apes and man because they disregard God’s Word. They substitute their own fallible opinions in the place of God’s revealed Word. As the time draws nearer to the Second Coming, as predicted in the Bible, there will be increased zones of strangeness and sightings of what is believed to be extra-terrestrials, but in reality many of these sightings will be demonic entities which are quite capable of masquerading as deceptive signs and wonders from other dimensions. A new supernatural worldview is developing, preparing the way for the prophesied Man of Sin, the anti-Christ. In many quarters the prevailing sentiment is that man is evolving into demi-gods, versus the Biblical worldview that all men are sinners vitally in need of the Saviour. According to the Bible, the last days will be like the days of Noah, when fallen angels—demons-- interacted with men. During the past decades there has been an explosion of UFO sightings. The deception of fallen angels will re-appear at the end of the age. Meanwhile Pope Frances has challenged basic Christian doctrine. He is the first pontiff to have expressed an ambition to baptize an extra-terrestrial. The Pope’s ambition is, in fact, a bold-faced heresy since the Gospels clearly proclaim that Jesus died for earth men and women and not for any other alleged creatures from outer space. If there are other worlds with living creatures, perhaps they never fell and
perhaps they never needed a Saviour. But this world definitely needs a Savoiur to make atonement for us. On earth we can account for our history of sin, going back to Adam, and the advent of the Redeemer, but the Church is not responsible for evangelizing any supposed creatures originating outside the realm of this present world! Why does the Vatican have an observatory in Arizona unbelievably called Lucifer? This is documented by Christian authors Chuck Missler and Thomas Horn, who also discuss the possibilities of the return of giants and fallen ones called the nefillim. I’m quite alarmed by the naïve attitude of many believers who communicate with me daily in emails, at my website or through the social media. Frequently I’m sent the most outrageous links being presented as if they were “Gospel truth.” In all seriousness, recently a believer sent me a video labelling a well-known leader as the Anti-Christ and claiming that he was protected by an alien security guard. In actuality the “alien” appeared to be a typical security officer, bald and clean-shaven, with an earpiece in his ear. TV lights shining on the bald man’s head gave the illusion of horns—but it was not the least bit convincing to any sensible person. Recently I heard a member of the Royal Astronomical Society discussing a genuine photograph of the moon transiting the earth, but he said that you can hardly trust any photo on the Internet. Proliferation of photoshopping techniques enhance or change images by using layering and cloning techniques. So how can we protect ourselves from End-time deception? First of all, being ready for the Rapture and a knowledge of the Word of God are mandatory. We have to make a commitment to the inerrancy of the Word of God in a world that wants to take anybody’s word over and above the Bible, the Lord’s stated record. Secondly, if we have invited the Lord into our hearts, he will abide with us and his Holy Spirit will teach us all things. For the born again believer, the Holy Spirit gives us inside information! The Holy Spirit’s presence will alert us with an inner alarm system when something is not right. The gift of the discerning of spirits—knowing right from wrong, good from evil– is a gift from God that we must develop through practice and use. The more we listen and yield to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, when the Holy Spirit warns intuitively, the more accurate our walk with the Lord will become. For nearly 40 years, I’ve been involved in active ministry. I’ve been privileged to participate in revivals in
Africa and the Mideast. Not only have we seen great moves of the Holy Spirit, but we’ve also witnessed some ministry abuses. Some areas of deception are far more subtle. Recently I read an article by a pastor in Florida who admitted that some of the “signs and wonders” popular “techniques” of street evangelism are, in fact, manipulative and can be deceptive. We all have to be so careful not to play with the anointing of the Lord and that’s why it takes maturity to handle the Lord’s anointing; the more time a person spends in the ministry the more he or she learns to be careful with the Lord’s anointing. That’s why the Bible cautions against novices and young people taking leadership. Many want to attract the youth to the ministry, but young leaders must first be mentored and seasoned before being given responsibilities. The Florida pastor wrote that for many years, he was personally involved with numerous prophetic schools and churches from around the USA who would go out on the streets every week to do prophetic and supernatural evangelism doing all sorts of techniques including "free spiritual reading" tents, handing out bottles of water and asking people if they could pray with them to try to lure them into a supernatural encounter with God. I also have led many teams in evangelism and much wisdom is needed in how to approach souls with the Gospel or with Bibles. I agreed so much with the sentiments of this pastor--What good does it do, he wrote, to go out and lay hands on the sick and crippled, if we never tell them that the Bible requires that they repent and live a consecrated life and to become disciples of the Lord? Unfortunately we’ve developed a culture in much of western charismatic Christianity where people are addicted to prophetic words and "demonstrating the love of God" without emphazing character, inner transformation and godly living. A woman wrote to me recently that she had watched one of my videos on the Second Coming and she was frightened because she realized she wasn’t ready for the Lord to come. She had been living with her boyfriend without marriage for 15 years and claimed she had been a Christian for the past five years of that time. But can a person be a fornicator and a Christian? The answer is clearly, “No!”

“For seven days you are to dwell in booths. . . . . . . .” (Leviticus 23: 42) Our “Moveable Feast of Tabernacles” in the Old City of Jerusalem has grown from strength to strength and these photos are only a few highlights of our joy, worship and intercession in the midst of increasing attacks against the Jewish state. Perhaps the greatest “attraction” was the super blood moon at the beginning of our convocation, the last in a prophetic tetrad of our generation and a clear indicator that the Creator was speaking to his world through a heavenly spectacle. See overleaf. On the cover of this edition of Exploits, we are presenting one of four
prophetic sceptres that the Lord provided, one for each of the Jewish, Armenian, Christian and Muslim quarters of the Old City. The Christian Quarter sceptre was given to Israeli Orthodox Jew Avi Lipkin as a sign that the Gospel torch is being passed back to the Jewish people. The scene is dissolving from the Church Age back to the rising again of the Nation of Israel, as prophesied by Simeon in Luke 2. Canon Andrew White, the “Vicar of Baghdad,” was a popular speaker (photo at left) and the Lord sent anointed musicians as we celebrated in various venues including historic Christ Church, the Sephardic Hotel in the Jewish Quarter and other colorful restaurants whose owners welcomed us with liberty to hold extraordinary convocations. Bethlehem demonstrated how the Jewish people pray during the Feast of Tabernacles (Succot) by waving before the LORD six times the four species of Succot-- in the directions of north, south, east and west and also up and down. Selah. However, while the Jewish people are standing before the Lord and blessing the four corners of the earth, the world does not return the blessing but is once again tragically cursing the Jewish people. Our theme this year was the “Eight Shepherds of Succot,” adding Jesus (Yeshua, the Great Good Shepherd) to the traditional Jewish list of the “Seven Shepherds of Succot” (Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Moses, Aaron, Joseph and David) who are all presently honored by observant Jews as exalted guests in their family booths. Yeshua will soon be discovered by the entire nation!

Blood Moon Over Jerusalem By Christine Darg God of wonders, beyond our galaxy You are holy, holy The universe declares Your majesty You are holy, holy Lord of heaven and earth (Lyrics by Chris Tomlin) Psalm 89 describes the moon as the Lord’s “faithful witness” in the sky and this is what we proclaimed along with our conference speaker author Bob O’Dell from the rooftop of Jerusalem as we watched with wonder God’s spectacle of the blood lunar eclipse. The Lord has been speaking to the nations during the tetrad of four blood moons on successive Passovers and Feasts of Tabernacles. I believe these blood moons are a fulfilment, at least partially, of the great prophecies in Joel. Many have been asking the meaning of the blood moons. Pastors have written books about the phenomena, but to my mind, it all boils down to the salvation message. Joel Chapter 2 Beginning of lunar eclipse ends like this: Photo by Christine Darg 31The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 32And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls. In Israel we are living “amongst the survivors” whom the Lord has called home. But the
times of the Gentiles are ending. Thank God today is still the day of God’s favour to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, but the Bible teaches that soon the door of opportunity will be closed. Not ever having seen a total lunar eclipse, many of us were awed by the God of wonder as we watched the spectacle of the eclipse from beginning to end, and as we also meditated upon Jeremiah 31: This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name: 36“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” And THAT IS the word of the Lord to Iran, to the so-called Islamic State, to the enemies of Israel, to the BDS (boycott-divestment-sanctions) anti-Semitic movement and to all who hate the Israel of God! When I was a child, I experienced an apocalyptic dream about blood moons. Therefore, to live to see this heavenly enactment in the sky over the reconstituted nation of Israel is a personal victory for me. Joel Chapter 2, which is quoted in Acts 2, is the word of the Lord to the nations: Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand— The day of the Lord is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it? Rend Your Heart

23 Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. 27 Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed. 28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. 30I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 32 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved!”
