Battery for Handheld Pushbutton Transmitters T70/1 and T70/2 The BT06K model battery is a rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery for use with pushbutton transmitters from the TM70 range (models T70/1 and T70/2).

CB70 The CB70 (or BC70K) battery charger has two charge housings for the simultaneous charging of two batteries (models BT06 and BT12 of the TM60 range and models BT06K and BT24IK of the TM70 range. It has a fast and intelligent type of charge that recognises the type of battery to be charged and the recharging time required to bring it up to maximum or nominal charge. The charger should be used in conjunction with the power supply adapter supplied with every radio remote. Precautions to bear in mind:

Battery for console box transmitters T70/3, T70/4 and iK3 The BT24iK model battery is a rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hybride) bettery for use with console box transmitters T70/3, T704 and iK3.

• Only use the manufacturer’s batteries. • Dead batteries must be recycled according to local regula tions. • ATEX – IKUSI (BT06K-ATEX and BT20K-ATEX) batteries can only be charged in BC70K or CB70 chargers.

The MASTER module has an AC or DC power supply (depending on whether the installation in which the machine is located is fixed or mobile) to power the additional SLAVE modules.

Range limiter LA70M AC/LA70M DC (MASTER) + LA70MEX (SLAVE) Ranger Limiter The TM70 and I-KONTROL radio remote control systems have a range limiting option that allows the system to detect whether the transmitter is outside an area defined as the work area and disable outputs when this occurs. The system consists of one or more LA70 and LA70EX infrared transmitters installed at fixed points or in the controlled machine itself, oriented so as to cover the work area to be limited. In these cases, the remote transmitters incorporate a sensor that receives information from the LA70M or LA70EX transmitter; this information is then analysed by the transmitterâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s microprocessor, which is thus able to detect when the operator left the work area and consequently disables the outputs or the possibility of switching on the equipment. The remote control system has four modes of operation, including the range limiter option:

1.- Range limiter available only at start-up (electronic key): for the transmitter to start up, the equipment must be inside a work area set in the IR transmitter. 2.- Range limiter available only in work: the transmitter can be started up inside the work area (within or outside the range limitation area), but the movement outputs will only become active once we are inside the range limitation area.

3.- Range limiter at start-up and in work: to operate the equipment with all its features, it must be within the work area. 4.- Range limiter as relay output: with this feature, the transmitter does not signal anything if it is out of range. Only the LA bit on the screensaver will be enabled, which will subsequently be processed as appropriate in the table.

On transmitter start-up, the radio remote equipment will automatically look for a free channel. If another user activates a radio remote device on the same working channel, the transmitter can simply be switched off and on again to find another free channel and allow work to continue.

• Range limiter The remote can only be used when there is an infrared connection between the transmitter and receiver. This rules out risk situations caused by activating the remote without a clear and safe view of the machine.
