news ‘Tis the season to get… married

WEDDING season is well and truly upon us with two more local couples tying the knot.

Countryside Realty Noosa sales consultants, Kimberlea Thwaites and Eliot Krause, said ‘I do’ on September 29.

Kimberlea told the Cooroy Rag that they had the “best day” celebrating with their dearest family and friends.

“Eliot and I have been engaged for a few years and have the most adorable daughter in the world who is about to turn two.

“We finally decided to tie the knot on our property that we own in Carters Ridge and we had the best day.”

From the engagement ring to the wedding flowers, the happy couple always used local businesses.

“Eliot designed my engagement ring and had it made by Paul at ‘Bold as Love Jewellery’ in Cooroy and we then had him make our beautiful wedding bands.

“Our flowers were done by none other than the beautiful Vanessa at ‘Rambling Rose’ in Cooroy.

“And our photographs were done by the absolutely exceptional Ben Sowry, who is actually a Cooroy local together with his beautiful wife. He is divine and anyone who has the chance to meet him, would be a better person for it.”

Kimberlea said that they feel so proud to be a part of such a beautiful community “with beautiful businesses and business owners who helped us create and celebrate the best day ever”.

“Our whole Countryside family were there to celebrate with us on the day.”

Another local couple celebrating their nuptials surrounded by family and friends were Josh Roberts and Karen Elliott.

They were married on October 2, with their children, Wyatt and Wren, by their side.

One wedding guest said that the happy couple couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day – a gorgeous balmy spring afternoon. For the occasion, their property, Kingfisher Fields, was tastefully decorated to create a beautiful rustic theme.

“Bagpipes welcomed guests on arrival with the sound ambling amid the gum trees and spacious bush setting.”

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Roberts.
