Choose Your Benefits and Select Your Partnership Level By Kristi Valentine President & CEO
Membership in the Coppell Chamber provides more value than ever for your business. Deciding on the level of membership that fits your needs, provides the most benefit and helps your business with the goals you have established is completely up to you. This new tiered membership structure was adopted in the Fall of 2014 and has been well received by veteran and new members alike. One of the most popular features of the new membership structure is the Sponsorship Credit allowing members to find ways to further engage with the Chamber and the membership while promot-
ing their business. Whether you are most interested in having your business featured on a Chamber website banner ad, or the ability to attend a private coffee with selected civic leaders, the Chamber Chair and President, there’s a membership level that is just right for you. Call LuLu Mayo, Director of Membership Services for the Coppell Chamber of Commerce at 972393-2829 or email her at LuLu@ coppellchamber.org today. We’d love to include you on the New Members page in the next issue of the Coppell Gazette’s Chamber Insert. Check out this issue’s New Member listing and pictures of the great ribbon-cuttings at the end of 2014/early 2015 included. At the Coppell Chamber we are here focused on Helping Your Business…That’s What We Do!

Chamber’s 2014 in Review By Kristi Valentine
We are setting ourselves up for even greater things to come! The Coppell Chamber of Commerce broke every record in documented history in 2014. We had record growth in membership by adding another 20% to our membership last year, and are already on-track this year to exceed a goal of 500 active members by the end of 1Q2015. Our membership is strong and is also actively engaged in the programs and events the Chamber offers. We attract new members, then prove our value and that keeps them renewing. Networking, exposure and education are strong suits of the Coppell Chamber. Through monthly networking events like the Chamber Connections Breakfast and the Chamber Connections Lunch, we assisted over 800 business people in finding new contacts to further promote and expand their business. The “speed dating for business” event we host quarterly, Mega Market, continues to be a big success! Is there any other forum around providing you the opportunity to meet 60+ people and educate them on your business in a block of 3 hours in one location for $25? This directly supports our answer when others ask, “what does the Chamber do?” and we can easily an-
swer, “Helping Your Business…that’s what we do!” Business Expos are hosted by the Chamber multiple times a year within our City limits. In 2014, over 200 businesses took advantage of these Chamber Expos to promote their business and allow the general public a chance to get to know them and what they offered our community. Education is key for the growth of every business. The Coppell Chamber offers multiple opportunities for business people to learn about relative topics; social media, public speaking, marketing and Quickbooks are just a few of the topics we cover in an informal setting. The Chamber also offers online classes anyone can take at any time. Some of the classes are offered free of charge while many others are available for under $20 and can be viewed multiple times for up to one-year online. (You don’t have to be a member to attend classes in-person or online.) Take a look at our website to find opportunities to join us for “live” classes or to see our extensive list of over 1,000 online classes. SCORE offers free business mentoring through the Chamber office; just give us a call and make an appointment today to meet with one of the SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives) counselors.
Chamber Connections Luncheon held at Victor’s Wood Grill
