Coppell Chamber Update FALL 2014

Sample Local Cuisine By Kristi Valentine President & CEO Coppell Chamber of Commerce

Have you had a chance to try Black Walnut Café yet? Maybe you are interested in trying Kebabs-To-Go’s Mediterranean cuisine or a Red Velvet Cupcake from Frost Cupcakery. If you are a self-proclaimed “foodie” or maybe just interested in checking out what our local businesses offer in the way of yummy food and beverages, then mark your calendar now to attend the 5th Annual Taste of Coppell, presented again this year by Frost Bank. From 4-7pm on Sunday, November 9, 2014, please join lots of the local residents when we gather at the Coppell Senior and Community Center for this year’s event. Many of our tried and true participants are back again this year to wow you with their mouth-watering appetizers, main entrees, desserts, beverages, etc. We also have several new additions to our list of participating restaurants. There will be wine tasting by Market Street and I understand that Simmer is going to be sampling at least one of their specialty cocktails, too. Help us award the Golden Fork Award (participant with the most tips/dollars in their voting box) and the “Best Of” in all categories. Tickets are $25 in advance and on sale now and can be purchased online at www.coppellchamber.org, in person or by phone at the Coppell Chamber, 509 W. Bethel Road, Coppell, TX 75019 or 972-393-2829. If it’s not a sell-out in advance, we will also have tickets for purchase at the door that day for $35 each, but purchasing in advance is recommended. These restaurants that have already committed to participate in this year’s event: • Black Walnut Café • J. Macklin’s Grill • Daddy Jack’s Wood • Kebabs-To-Go Fired Grill • Market Street • Frost Cupcakery • Simmer • Guero’s Mexican • Whataburger Grill • Zenzero Bakery • Hard Eight BBQ I hope you’ll join me at this year’s Taste of Coppell presented by Frost Bank. The proceeds from this event assist the Coppell Chamber of Commerce in providing programs to your local businesses. We appreciate your support. Helping Your Business…That’s What We Do!
