Volunteers We are currently recruiting for the winter season. If you are 13 years or older and in high school, you may benefit from opportunities we have available for volunteers.

What are some spring volunteer opportunities? •

Assist with exciting community events.

Be a community recreation volunteer in skating lessons, sports, arts and more. You can play, have fun and enjoy the program, but more importantly you provide an extra set of hands to the program leader and help make the program a success.

Support a person with a disability as they stay active in Delta programs and facilities with the Delta Accessibility Support Program.

Be a swim lesson volunteer. Continue to develop your skills if you are interested in becoming a swim instructor or lifeguard.

How do I get started? • •

Visit Delta.ca/Volunteers and choose your volunteer area of interest to view current opportunities. Choose the sign up online option to apply. Register for Leaders of Tomorrow Level 1* or 2 programs. See page 22 for details.

• All potential volunteers will be required to attend an interview. *Youth 13–15 years of age must complete the Leaders of Tomorrow Level 1 program before they can volunteer.
