16 years ago they told us the Internet would have been a soap bubble. That e-mails would have never replaced faxing. They told us we were wasting our efforts, since the online exchange of information would have never become established. Today we know the Internet is an integral part of our communication system. Above all, despite the time elapsed, we know this is only the beginning. Much more is yet to come.


We mostly deal with mobile and cloud solutions, developing websites and applications distributed using the main open source technologies currently available, such as PHP, MySql, Javascript, Ajax, XHTML, XML, CSS, Java... Cosmobile srl, established in 2008, was initially conceived as the “technological soul� of a sound reality which had been operating on the web since 1997 (Iprov.com), with the aim of dealing with the problems related to the development of internet software and new technologies, which were emerging at that time.

Our technical staff boasts the development of a number of ground-breaking projects and research and development activities aimed at the creation of integrated solutions for information processing and exchange.


We develop native applications for mobile devices, especially smartphones and tablets featuring OS and Android operative systems. We specialize in web integrated applications for data processing and exchange, aimed at supporting highly advanced synchronization and update procedures.

Our applications “synchronize� to any company database through an online platform. This allows users to access the data stored in a mobile device, which are continuously updated, at the same keeping the networks protected from external attacks.

Management of sales networks The reduced size of mobile devices, the easily accessible operative systems, the ever more efficient level of connectivity make our applications the ideal tool for the management of a sales network. Product catalogues Product catalogues (which are an essential tool to present the whole product range of a company) can be made available on a mobile device. We also develop visitor-oriented solutions, such as the possibility of bookmarking their preferred items and finding closest stores. Handbooks and technical specifications Making all the technical information and details – which are normally shown on a technical sheet - available on a mobile device means to provide your agents, technicians and clients with an easy accessible and continually updated tool. Customized portals We can adapt the interface of your website in order to optimize the use of mobile devices, avoiding the problems related to small screen size and the use of touch-screen technology. Software for online shared projects This kind of software enables users to manage the projects and work of a development team. Logging in, it is possible to create projects, divide them into activities and assign them to a specific operator. ePlan is a valuable tool for planning teamwork, defining functions, deadlines and priorities for each single activity.

Our apps can be accessed offline. All data are stored in the mobile device; they are always available even without an internet connection.

We can also develop apps able to offer advanced support to specialized technicians and experts.


Order Sender has been designed to transfer the classic form “Order Copy” to a modern and advanced device (i.e. tablets), for all the agents. Order Sender enables users to create and send their orders through a database located on the mobile device, which will allow them to keep all the information regarding suppliers, customers, products and discounts updated. Each order is created automatically, based on the data stored in the local database. The order is then converted into a pdf document and a copy is sent to the agent, the supplier and the client. The application is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store (ex Android Market), both in a Lite version (free demo) and a Pro version. Order Sender has already been downloaded by more than 3.000 users and has received extremely positive feedback.

If your company has specific needs, Cosmobile also offers a Business version of Order Sender, a cloud-based application, which can be accessed via a web browser, entering username and password. Order Sender Business will enable you to centrally manage the list of suppliers, clients, products and discounts through a user-friendly interface, automatically synchronizing them with the agents’ mobile devices featuring Order Sender Pro. Order Sender software can be customized, creating a specific app, which can be integrated to the IT and managing system of your company. While creating automatic catalogues we pay special attention to two main aspects: data organization and page layout. Through data management, we offer our clients a unique tool to manage all the information related to their products: photos, technical specifications, items description... A true online product database (which can be integrated into a company’s managing software), available to the staff of a company which can be used to create statistic reports, manage web portals, e-commerce websites, apps for mobile devices and so on... The data collected are imported into Adobe InDesign to directly generate the layout (ready-to-use or semi-finished mode, according to the needs), through some prearranged master pages and a script realized by us using Adobe libraries. We can deal with any kind of publishing work (product catalogues, supermarket fliers, tour operator catalogues, technical catalogues… offering multi-language services and diversified price lists), ensuring maximum value, reducing the margins of error and above all saving time and resources.

The client side is created in Javascript using an Ajax communication pattern, offering a quick and functional interface. ePlan includes a shared agenda, which can be synchronized with the main standard in use (ICS, VCF), and a document management system, to track all the documents related to a project. It also provides a user friendly section for filling out of the time-sheets and keeps record of development, expenses and transfer time and costs. In addition the statistic reports make it possible to check the duration and cost incurred for the development of single projects, as well as the activity carried out by each component of the team. Electronic Data Interchange The experience we have gained over the years with our clients has helped us understand the importance of effective and thorough information management. That’s why we have focused on the development and optimization of data management. We can create highly complex data management applications, featuring user-friend-

ly and simple interfaces, which can be used by personnel with no specific technical skills and knowledge.

We create applications which can integrate with other systems, using several formats and protocols, such as CSV, XML, JSON and SOAP, able to manage complex sync routines, in real-time or based on a scheduled and interact with devices based on TCP/IP protocols or specific drivers aimed at improving communication, such as optical readers, video-cameras, motion and noise sensors.

Our websites: Developped on taedo platform a user-friendly and intuitive internally-located application. We can create websites and portals, meeting specific needs and deadlines. Our applications can be entirely managed by the client through a reserved and customized back office section.

Taedo platform is developed in PHP 5 (Object Oriented) and is based on Zend Framework libraries (http://www.zendframework. com). The platform also includes javascript components, for which we used the MooTools framework (http://www.mootools.net) and its extension Clientcide (http://www.clientcide. com). The data structure uses a MySql database..
