Editor’ s Note Hey monsters!!
I hope you enjoyed your summer monsters! This summer was super eventful for me, and it was one of the best summers I’ve had so far! Being back at school again is a weird feeling, but I truly hope you guys make the most of your 4 years here and have fun; it goes by FAST. Club rush is coming up again, so be sure to check out our booth, and PLEASE encourage your friends to join! Key Club is so much more fun when you get to do it with your friends. This also means FRN and RTC are coming up soon too, so please stay tuned for that and let’s have an amazing year of service monsters!

Hey monsters! Hey monsters!
Happy September! With the end of summer, it’s time to embrace the new season of fall and jump right into school! I hope everyone gets acclimated to their classes now that we are about 3 weeks in the school term. I know I certainly have! I think my best class this term is AP Biology. Learning about the intricate details of the cell structure has been a captivating topic to think about!
The COKC board as well as the D7S DLT has been hard at work to create new events for you all. Make sure to keep a look out for upcoming Key Club events in the upcoming month! Cosumnes Oaks Key Club will also be hosting our first official meeting on Wednesday, September 11 to welcome all the new and old members to the club! Also, if you’re interested in gaining new leadership experiences and honing your skills, be on the lookout for our extended board applications! Finally, I hope all of you monsters are ready to SERVE our community! I am looking forward to seeing new faces and meeting new people at Club Rush and at our first meeting.

Hi, my name is Carlie Dang and I’m honored to be serving you as your 2024-2025 Secretary for COKC! I’ve been apart of Key Club since my freshman year and I’m so excited to see what this term has to offer. I heard about Key Club through my older sister and her friends, as she was apart of D02N from Region 9! After seeing how much fun and excitement she got from being in Key Club, it really inspired me to put myself out there and go out of my comfort zone. From being a scared freshman who had just moved cities, to now being secretary and helping the same club that helped me! I started off as Web Tech my sophomore year and reapplied my junior year. Being in Key Club has given me so many opportunities and so many great friends. I encourage you to join and to tell your friends as well!
