A TYPICAL DAY ON A SAFARI: A gentle knock at your door; (at times accompanied by hot tea or coffee) starts your day. After some light snacks, venture into the wilderness with your ranger and tracker on a 4WD (at times on foot) as the day breaks. This is the time when animals are most active and wildlife sighting is the most rewarding.
starts to get active and so should you. Take an afternoon tea and your safari activities begins soon after. Sundowner is one of the loveliest moments of the day as you watch the golden sun set into the horizon at a carefully selected spot sipping in the view and some cocktails and refreshments- a real safari tradition! In some private concession, this extends into exciting night drive as you go in search of nocturnal wildlife.
Late morning, return to your camp to enjoy a full breakfast. Catch up on sleep and enjoy a tasty lunch. Relax the afternoon away with a book or a siesta or simply chill out and spend quiet time amidst the stunning grounds of the camp. (A great time to rest as the animals do under the midday heat). If you are energetic, join one of the nature walk where the guide lends insight about the bush and its inhabitants.
Dinner is a highpoint on a safari. Not only is the food delicious, you are enjoying some of the finest dining in a handsome courtyard or under the starry skies sharing the day’s adventure and encounters. Some of the best moments in life are captured when you are on a safari!
As the African sun begins to ease away and shadows starts to form across the bushveld, the animals

WHY US KNOWLEDGE AND RECOMMENDATION Choosing the right safari camp or lodge makes or breaks your trip. Getting into the ideal safari camp is much more than choosing the right hotel in a city. The location determines the wildlife and terrain you will experience, the style and quality of service and the standard of guiding of the naturalists and rangers. With our years of in-depth knowledge through the personal experience of our travel specialists, our recommendation depends on the season, the type of landscape and the style and quality of the accommodation. We love small intimate camps, often less than 20 guests that is rich in African flavour, unobtrusive to the environment and lets you enjoy the beauty of the area to its best. High quality guiding, personalised service and excellent cuisine are trademarks of our selected properties.
Every best laid plan may meet with contingency. With our carefully selected partners on the ground and our 24-hours emergency contact, we are available at the very first minute when any unlikely events occur. SAFETY ASSURANCE Africa is the wildest of all continents and you are frequently deep in the wilderness far away from civilisation. Safety is our primary concern. We select camps with qualified and experienced guides that understands the power of nature and shares our emphasis on safety. Access to remote locations is frequently by small charted plane and we only engage those with the highest quality aircraft and experienced pilot. NON SAFARI ARRANGEMENT Apart from safari, the beautiful waterfront city of Cape Town with its gourmet cuisine, the great natural spectacle of Victoria Falls and the exotic island of Zanzibar awaits! Arrangements in these places bear the high quality of tour that is trademark of Country Holidays- excellent personal guide, carefully selected hotels, restaurants and highest quality vehicles.
SEAMLESS COORDINATION AND ON THE GROUND CARE Through meticulous planning and years of experience, we craft every journey to make the best of your holiday time whether it is the flow of the itinerary, using the best connection and scheduled flights or flying you deep into the wilderness via chartered planes.
